Why travel for education after so many years in the industry?

I love to immerse myself in continuing education classes several times a year… and if I can catch an interesting class happening somewhere I’ve had on my travel list… even better.

I love exploring new places, getting new inspiration, and connecting with stylists outside of my local community. It opens a world of opportunities that I’d never see if I didn’t leave my city.

But that’s not why I go.

I go because our industry never stops evolving.

Styles and trends are constantly changing. New products are always being developed. New methods emerge with better results and more efficiency. Modern placement techniques. Safer installation practices. Tricks that allow more flexibility with styling. Healthier approaches for preserving your own hair.

In this particular class, I got the opportunity to learn from two of the top educator names in the extension world right now. I got to practice hands-on techniques, learn custom keratin bond creation and how to install them for the safest, most seamless wear. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this class from meeting Christine & Alex to practicing these techniques alongside several brilliantly talented stylists from all over the country. And I was able to immediately put the skills I learned from this class into action when I returned to the salon.

The goal isn’t to collect certificates.

The goal is to make sure every guest who sits in my chair receives the absolute best version of what our industry has to offer… not what we were taught five years ago.

You deserve someone who’s still learning.

Because when I grow… your experience gets better.

Should I go with wefts or K-tips?

I get asked this almost every week.

The truth is… Neither method is “better.” They’re simply designed for different goals.

Wefts are incredible for creating fullness and length efficiently. They offer great coverage and the maintenance appointments can be quick and easy.

Custom K-tips give me the freedom to place individual strands exactly where they’re needed, making them perfect for finer hairlines, filling sparse areas, creating movement around the face, or building completely customized density.

That’s why consultations matter so much.

The right extension method isn’t just determined by what’s trending. It’s determined by your natural hair, your lifestyle, and your long term goals.

Hi, I’m Ashely. If you’re new here, I’m so glad you found my little corner of the internet.

I’m a hairstylist with 15+ years behind the chair, specializing in luxury hair extensions and lived-in color that looks effortless, grows out beautifully, and fits your real life.

What I really love, though, is helping women feel like themselves again.

Whether you’re a busy mom who’s spent years putting everyone else first, navigating postpartum or thinning hair, or simply ready for a change, I want you to know you’ll always find a judgment-free, welcoming space here.

I created my private salon suite because I wanted something different than the traditional salon experience. One where appointments never feel rushed, every service is fully customized, and you can truly relax. Whether that means chatting, watching Netflix, or simply enjoying a little quiet, this space is yours.

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll usually find me chasing my toddler, planning our next adventure, or dreaming about which national park to visit next. My goal is to see as many as I can! And if you’ve ever wondered what fuels long salon days… it’s probably a Dr Pepper or a good cold brew.

I’m also passionate about continuing education. I regularly travel to learn the latest techniques because I believe you deserve modern extension methods, healthy hair practices, and the most personalized experience possible. I’m equally intentional about the products I use, choosing cleaner ingredients whenever I can because healthy hair starts with healthy choices.

If you’re looking for natural-looking extensions, low-maintenance color, and a stylist who truly values your experience as much as your results, I think you’ll feel right at home here.

I’m so glad you’re here. I can’t wait to get to know you and hear your story.

All moms come to a point occasionally in motherhood where you realize you’ve been pouring so much into everyone else that you’ve quietly slipped to the bottom of your own priority list.

This sweet new mama was ready to change that.

We brightened up her grown-out highlights while keeping soft, natural dimension for a low-maintenance grow out, then gave her an updated cut that will be easier to style and manage during this busy season of life.

Sometimes self-care isn’t about a dramatic transformation. It’s about making your daily routine a little easier, feeling more like yourself again, and catching your reflection thinking, “There I am.”

Motherhood changes so much, but it doesn’t mean you have to lose yourself in the process. Sometimes a few hours in the chair, a little quiet, and hair that makes you feel beautiful again is exactly what you need to pour back into yourself.

If you’re in a season where you’ve been taking care of everyone else, consider this your reminder that you’re worth taking care of, too. 🤍

You don’t need a whole new life. You just need to recognize yourself again.

If you’ve spent the last few years pouring everything you have into everyone else… your kids, your family, your job… somewhere along the way, it’s easy to stop feeling like you.

I hear it all the time.

“I just want to feel put together again.”

Hair won’t solve every problem. But when you catch yourself smiling at your reflection instead of avoiding it, something shifts.

Extensions aren’t about having “Instagram hair.” They’re about creating hair that makes getting ready feel easier, gives you confidence on the busiest mornings, and helps you feel like the best version of yourself.

And when you sit in my chair, you’re never expected to have it all together.

This is your time. Your quiet place. Your reset.

Your chance to be taken care of for a change.

Extensions should never feel like extensions.

My favorite compliment?

“I forget I’m even wearing them.”

That’s exactly what I’m aiming for.

When extensions are customized correctly, they shouldn’t feel heavy. They shouldn’t constantly remind you they’re there. They shouldn’t make you nervous to wear your hair up.

Whether we’re creating custom K-tips or installing feather-light wefts, every decision I make is based on one question:

How can I make these disappear into your own hair?

That means paying attention to your density, head shape, hair texture, growth patterns, natural color variation, and movement.

Those tiny details are what create hair that simply feels like yours… only fuller, longer, and more confidence-boosting.

If you had told me five years ago that this would be my salon, I probably would have smiled and said, “One day.”

Because long before I ever signed a lease for a private suite, I had already built this space in my mind.

I wasn’t dreaming about fancy furniture or pretty décor. I was dreaming about how I wanted people to feel.

I wanted a space where appointments never felt rushed. A place where you could take a deep breath the moment you walked in the door.

Some days that means chatting and laughing for hours. Other days it means sitting quietly, watching your favorite show with a blanket and a snack while someone takes care of you.

I wanted every detail to feel intentional… from the lighting and the music to the products I use and the way each appointment is customized around you.

A few months ago marked two years since I made the leap into my own private salon suite, and one full year in this beautiful location. Looking back, it’s hard to believe how much has changed.

I’ve continued investing in advanced education, introduced new extension techniques, brought in cleaner product lines that align with my values, expanded my services, and met so many incredible women. Those women have not only trusted me with their hair, but also with pieces of their stories.

This space has become so much more than a salon.

It’s where confidence has been rebuilt after postpartum hair loss. Where women have celebrated promotions, engagements, weddings, birthdays, and fresh starts. Where tears have been shared, big dreams have been talked through, and friendships have quietly formed between appointments.

Every little corner of this suite was created with love, because I wanted you to feel like you belonged here.

Thank you to every single guest who’s trusted me enough to be part of this journey.

This little dream keeps growing because of you, and I truly can’t wait to see where the next chapter takes us. ✨

Your experience with extensions doesn’t end in my chair. Beautiful hair is a partnership.

I can create the perfect install… but what happens at home determines how long it stays looking that way.

That’s why I prioritize time teaching home care as much as I do safety installing your extensions.

How to brush your hair properly. How to sleep in your extensions to prevent matting or tangling. How to wash them. Why heat protection matters, and why to use mineral based sunscreen. Why product buildup matters.

How to protect your investment every single day.

My goal isn’t for your hair to look amazing when you leave. My goal is for it to still look amazing six weeks from now.

Your hair should look great AND feel easy to live in. I’ll always make sure you’re confident in knowing exactly how to maintain your new look between appointments.

Motherhood changed so much more than my schedule… it completely changed the way I care for my guests.

When I returned from maternity leave, I realized something I had never noticed before… The constant noise, conversations, music, phones ringing, and fast pace of a traditional salon left me feeling completely overstimulated. If I was feeling that way, I knew there were so many other women (especially moms) who probably felt it too.

Not long after coming back to work, I made the decision to move into a private salon suite. To be honest, I had dreamed of working in a salon suite for years… but having a new baby in the house was the push I needed to fast track all of those dreams and turn them into a plan.

I wanted to create the kind of space I found myself craving. Somewhere that felt calm instead of chaotic. Somewhere you could take a deep breath, let your shoulders relax, and simply exist without someone needing something from you every five minutes.

For so many of us, motherhood is beautiful… but it’s also loud. It’s constant. It’s pouring from a cup that doesn’t always get refilled.

When you sit in my chair, I want those few hours to feel like someone is finally taking care of you.

Whether you want to chat, sit in comfortable silence, watch your favorite show, enjoy a snack, or simply have a moment of peace, this appointment is yours. There’s no pressure to entertain anyone or keep up with the noise.

Beautiful hair is always the goal, but creating a space where you can truly rest… even if it’s just for a few hours… is one of the things I’m most proud of.

Self-care isn’t about escaping motherhood. It’s about having a place where you can reconnect with yourself before stepping back into the beautiful chaos and enjoying your family.
