Happy 2 years to my home away from home🫶🏼

To my first baby that I have poured so much of my life into! I’m so grateful for those who have come into the salon and those who have had to leave to continue their journey! Everyone has played such a vital role in this salon with me!

I opened this salon with just one employee in hopes to create a community that we can encourage and love on each other as stylist! From opening, to getting pregnant within the same month, to having my baby as my team keeps things running, as I come back and now starting new chapters within our story, I have loved every moment with this salon and those who are apart of it! To my current team: Thank you so much for all you do for the team and salon! Thank you for being the best team I have prayed for and uplifting each other daily! I couldn’t do this with out all of you! Thank you to our INCREDIBLE clients and each one that comes in. I pray that each of you have felt loved and valued every time you step foot into the salon! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you us!

This guest has been getting bright blonde for as long as I’ve known her and she’s FINALLY wanting to embrace some of her natural color!! With her being naturally a level 7 , kind of mousy brown root we wanted to keep some blonde but enhance that natural color!!

This is now her favorite color she’s had on herself and I’m here for the lived in blondes!! 🤩🫶🏼

I’m sorry but this before and after 😜

We had previously gone all blonde but decided it was time to come back to her natural color. We still wanted dimensions but her to still be a brunette! 😍

I added gold to her formula so that it wouldn’t turn out muddy, which happens a lot when going dark from super blonde! Unfortunately, after we started drying it, I realized I didn’t add enough warmth so I asked if we could retone which she was more than happy to do!

I love using quick fix which did exwhat I wanted it to do which was strip the tone I had put on her head so I could do it again, this time with a LOT of warmth to neutralize the muddiness! It turned out beautifully and exactly what she was needing 🥳

Moral of the story, sometimes things aren’t going to go EXACTLY how you want them to go but being HONEST with the guest and letting them know it wasn’t how you liked it and asking if we can change it 9 times out of 10 they will be thrilled and will trust you even if you mess up because they KNOW you will fix it right away 🙌🏼💗
