Starday has always been about honoring the people who continue shaping our lives long after they’re gone.
For Amber, Dr. James Gordon’s work has been a source of inspiration and hope-showing how healing can ripple outward through families, communities, and future generations.
Supporting The Center for Mind-Body Medicine felt like a natural extension of what Starday represents.
The people who shaped us leave their greatest legacy through the lives we continue to touch.

Brewed slowly.
Shared intentionally.
Remembered always.

In honor of late mother Phyllis, $2 of every bag will go towards and their work helping teachers, therapists, caregivers, and communities bring healing to children and families around the world. Coffee available through the link in our bio. (animation beautifully done by )
When we lose someone we love, we don’t just inherit their memories.
We inherit their values.
This is the story of Phyllis June and the legacy she passed to Amber, a legacy of compassion, service, and leaving every person, every place, and every moment a little better than before.

This is the story that gave birth to Starday, a story about grief, love, and the realization that remembrance isn’t only about looking back. It’s about carrying the people we love forward.
How one question changed everything

One of the most meaningful parts of sharing Starday has been hearing what it means to others.
Thank you, Ildi Revi for this beautiful reflection. Your words remind us that love has a way of outlasting loss.
Grief asks us to remember. Love asks us to celebrate.
Sometimes healing begins when we stop reliving the day we lost someone and start honoring the way they lived.
The small rituals that help us slow down, reflect, and be present are just as important as the things that fill our days.
