This past week has been emotionally taxing, and I’m about to get real with you.
•
I always try to be the stylist who smiles and lifts your spirits when you sit in my chair. I’ve curated a space where everyone can come in and have some fun and me time without worrying about what’s happening in the outside world or your personal life. I always will lend an ear to all my clients.
•
But this past week was hard. Not only did I say goodbye to my grandfather, I felt like I said goodbye to my childhood. I said goodbye to the house that helped raise me. I said goodbye to the town that I adored going to every summer. I said goodbye to my younger self.
•
So in a week of sadness, I was able to find some happiness with my remaining family members. 🤍

For the longest time I thought my future would be in medicine, dentistry, or surgery.
But when I finally took a leap of faith into this career, everything changed.

Now I don’t have to come to work… I get to.

I get to help people see the beauty they carry inside and out.

And that kind of fulfillment is something I’ll never take for granted. 🖤
