10 YEARS OF ROSS & GRAY
It’s hard to even put into words what this milestone means to us.
10 years ago, two 19-year-old best friends who met in cosmetology school decided to take a chance on a dream. We opened a little salon and formal wear shop in the hometown that raised us with just the two of us, a whole lot of ambition, and probably no idea what we were actually getting ourselves into.
And somehow… here we are.
What started with just the two of us has grown into a salon family of TWELVE. Twelve incredibly talented people who have helped make this place so much bigger and better than we ever could have imagined at 19.
We’ve actually grown up inside these walls. We’ve built our careers, started families, and created friendships and a community here. We’ve celebrated the highest highs, made it through the hard seasons, laughed until we cried with each other and with ya’ll.
To our families — thank you for believing in two teenagers with a big dream and for supporting us through every late night, busy season, crazy idea and “can you please come hang this?”
To every stylist who has ever been a part of our salon, and especially the amazing team we have today — thank you for bringing your talent, heart and personality into this place. You are such a huge part of what makes our salon what it is.
And to our CLIENTS — there truly would be no us without you. Thank you for choosing us, trusting us, referring your friends, supporting our business, sitting in our chairs year after year and allowing us to be part of your lives. Some of you have been with us since the very beginning, and that means more than we could ever say.
At 19, we were just hoping we could make it work.
At 29, we get to look around at a team of 12, a decade of memories, thousands of clients who have walked through our doors, and realize that little dream became much more. It’s our livelihood, the reason we get to spend time with our kids, and do what we love for a living. How lucky are we?!
Here’s to the first 10 years and whatever the next 10 have in store.
