On July 10, 2026, 44-year-old Esthetician and Assistant Cosmetic Laser Practitioner Rachel Vandegriff was taken into custody after authorities received multiple reports that she had been absolutely slaying her clients’ skin, lashes, and tattoo removals all summer long.

Investigators say the alleged offenses included suspiciously glowing complexions, lashes with excessive volume, and tattoo removals so clean that witnesses were left asking, “Was there ever even a tattoo there?” Several clients were reportedly seen leaving appointments hydrated, lifted, refreshed, and dangerously confident.

Authorities also claim Vandegriff may have knowingly used advanced skincare techniques, precision lash work, and cosmetic laser services with the intent to cause compliments, double takes, and spontaneous selfie-taking. One anonymous source stated, “I went in for a facial and came out looking like I drink eight glasses of water a day, mind my business, and have my life together.”

If convicted, Vandegriff could face 90 days of mandatory flawless facials, 200 hours of community lash service, court-ordered tattoo-removal excellence, and lifetime probation for slaying client's skin. Additional penalties may include being required to maintain perfect brows, keep SPF within arm’s reach at all times, and answer the question, “What did you do to your skin?” everywhere she goes.

Officials are warning the public not to approach her without first booking an appointment.
