Baby boy is here & doing amazing! 💙

Thank you to everyone who had patience & grace with me through everything that led up to his birth. Having the solid, ride-or-die clientele I have is what keeps me in this! It’s like a little family away from home & im grateful for it. 🫶🏼

4 more weeks & I’ll be back at it! can’t wait to see you all. ✨

This is a hard post for me to make bc I truly hate putting any of my personal business on social media & the circumstances in general just suck. ☹️

I unfortunately have to put the breaks on my last few weeks of work due to some issues in my pregnancy. Baby boy is okay, but will have to be here sooner than expected & I’m on very strict bed rest until then. 🥺

This will change my return date & put me coming back the first week of June, so I will have just a few openings around then for any extension or color clients that need to adjust appointments. I will be going through my online booking today & tomorrow to cancel all appts I had left for the next few weeks, that way scheduling your next appt will be a little easier. If you need any stylist referrals or help with rescheduling for my return date, please reach out via text & I will respond as soon as I can! I know I have quite a few messages to get through from the weekend, so I will work through those today as well.

It’s super unfortunate that we are in the same situation that we were just 18 months ago. We really hoped our story would be different this time, but pregnancy is just apparently hard on me & out of my control. I miss being with my babies & sleeping in my own bed. I definitely wouldn’t be able to mentally handle any of this without having the best husband on the planet. He holds it down & handles everything for us, no matter what. 😭❤️ & we have the best support system to help carry us through. Praying baby boy stays in for a little longer & gets here safely, that’s all that matters right now. 🫶🏼

I added a few more appointments before I go on maternity leave! I can’t believe this is my last full month of work. Make sure you snag a spot if you haven’t already & please remember to book for when I’m back late June/early July!

for those that didn’t know, we are expecting baby #3 this May 👶🏻 that being said, I will be on leave for 6 weeks starting May 2nd, then will come back mid June with a very limited schedule for another few weeks.

These are new requirements that will be put in place by State Board when we are permitted to open back up.
As of now, there is still no opening date & I am not rescheduling appts since I don’t have a clue of a projected date. Could be mid May, could be June. But as soon as I know something, I will update you all & start booking you accordingly.
Lastly, thank you all for being patient & sweet through all of this! It’s been hard on everyone in different ways. Being kind goes a long way & I’m just asking for your patience going forward as well. One of my dear clients was a bright, dimensional blonde all summer, then 6 weeks ago she came in + impulsively (but confidently!!) wanted to do a deep auburn red color. Well we're over it now, so we're starting our journey back to blonde. 😂
I was so happy with how well her hair lifted out this color! We foiled babylights into her hairline, used a dark brown at the root to cancel out any red, then a heavy hand painted balayage throughout. I'm posting this to show the realistic expectations when going from colors like this to something lighter. I'll keep you guys updated on this progress! 🙌🏼

She wanted to take a break from bleaching, so we look her darker using color gels at the root + color melting into a few different shades EQ formulas to create the best dimension!
Oh, + we chopped another 3 inches. Talk about change!!! 😍
