A fun evening and we learned a lot about the Civil War cavalry units and reenactments. Thanks Bob and Esther for sharing.

Shady Acres was proud to recently host Jennifer Moshier for a clinic. The clinic was a huge hit: Mrs. Moshier did not disappoint. She filled the arena with her star presence and gave our girls an afternoon so full of wisdom, they are sure to shine at their next show. We are so thankful to Mrs. Moshier for coming all this way to instruct the young riders of Shady Acres and their friends (folks from 3 counties enrolled!) We are making plans to have Jennifer come back later in the summer; her schedule is pretty packed with judging shows now. This next clinic will bring even more folks in from all over 'cause it's a HOT topic: Ranch Pleasure!

Three 4-H clubs and three counties were represented yesterday at our Junior First Aid Clinic. Shady Acres' own Kristen Danielle, 2015 graduate of the Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine, gave the kids an evening to remember with both didactic and hands-on learning. Thank you, Dr. Kristen, and best wished as you begin the next chapter of your life: joining your first Veterinary practice!
