Updates about Gary

Gary saw a thoracic surgeon today. His ct looked good so he doesn’t have to have a surgery to seal off the fluid that was collecting around his lungs.

We’re home!

Gary is coming home today. He will have a ct and an appointment with a thoracic surgeon next week

Gary passed the night breathing test and the best news is he has no signs of rejection. He’s still in the hospital but is doing good. He just took a walk with just me. The thoracic surgeons are deciding if he needs the procedure to seal the fluid leak before they let him go home.

Gary is doing better. The docs have said they were going to watch him over the weekend and make a decision about if he needs anything else done on Monday. I’m will be home tonight. I’ve been in Florida this week.

Gary is still in the hospital. He got 2 chest tubes in either side of his chest. After the fluid is drained he may have to have a video guided procedure to fix what is causing the fluid to collect.

Gary is back in the hospital for a brief stay. He has had fluid in his chest since the surgery and they are going to drain it. He should not be in there for more than a couple of days. Otherwise he is doing well.

Gary is doing well. He had labs, an X-ray and rehab this morning and a doctor’s appointment this afternoon. Thank you everyone who has prayed for him and continues to pray for him.

Gary is home! Praise God!
