Let’s talk about how brows should NOT** look like and why choose me as your artist 🥰

The first photo is an example and not** my work of what bad work looks like! If the artist tattoos too deeply in the dermis it becomes permanent and turns to a dark color. That’s a no no!!

If you see someone walking around with super dark brows it can be a number of factors from the artist but also sometimes the client. Some of those can be
- Artist unfortunately tattooed too deep like a tradition tattoo
- Artist used the wrong pigment pix (it’s important to be very knowledgeable in pigment theory)
- The client had prior health issues and or was on medications that can lead to poor healing (it’s important for your artist to send forms and check off everything)

Powder brows should be soft, and technically semi* permanent and not implanted deeply like a traditional body tattoo. ✨

The pigment is placed carefully and superficially within the papillary dermis skin to create a soft, powdered effect that gradually fades over time. When pigment is implanted too deeply or the skin becomes oversaturated, brows can heal overly dark, cool, blurred or more permanent than intended.

Proper depth, gentle technique and controlled saturation are what allow powder brows to heal soft and natural, not harsh or black. 🤎

Brows are meant to naturally fade but still hold some color and shape! If brows turn super super grey or dark black, unfortunately that means the artist selected the wrong pigment choice and or went too deep into the skin!

Pigment choice will determine on clients undertone, goals, etc!

Today was a beautiful busy Friday🩷

One of my consultations needed a round of laser removal due to previous work being too deep. Color is meant for the top layer of skin and once it’s implanted too deep unfortunately they get super dark/grey and cannot be touched until after removal.

My other consulation had old work as well but was not too deep or saturated so we scheduled her appointment for 3 weeks to do color correction and refresh powder brows. And, she brought me some goodies 🙏
