An RF machine does not “put” collagen into your skin — and new collagen doesn’t magically appear during a 20-minute treatment.

CASE 008 | 7+ YEARS OF LASER. WOULD I KEEP GOING? 👀

This client came to me after more than 7 years of facial laser hair removal at another clinic. She has PCOS and told me:

“Oxana, I believe in laser. It works.”

So do I.
But I believe in results more.

Look at the hair I see today.

Some hairs are still dark and coarse. But many are now much finer — which makes them poorer optical targets for laser.

Could I treat some of them with my Candela GentleMax Pro? Yes.

But this is where strategy matters:

Just because I CAN use laser doesn’t mean I SHOULD.

Hair shedding can create a beautiful short-term result. But shedding is not the same as long-term hair reduction.

For many of the remaining hairs in CASE 007, I chose electrolysis.

And because she has PCOS, there is another important distinction: I can treat the appropriate follicles, but hair removal does not treat the underlying hormonal condition.

My job isn’t to sell another package.

My job is to look at the hair you have today and choose the right strategy.

This is one of the biggest misunderstandings I see with facial hair removal.

Hair follicles don’t check my appointment notes. 🙂
They follow their own biological cycles.

Different hairs can become visible at different times — and female facial hair can also change over time due to hormonal and other biological influences.

That’s why I document my clients with photos. 📸

Sometimes a client tells me:

“Oxana, my electrolysis isn’t working.”

Then we compare the pictures.

Same mole. Same area.
But the hairs she sees today may be in different locations from the hairs we treated before.

And remember:
