These photos were takin early fall two years ago

I had made my FIRST skincare order for my brand with the labels and name and everything else inbetween.

At this point I was a full time hairstylist, I was a new Purebarre instructor & I was officially a skincare brand creator

It was no longer just a crazy idea.

It was a crazy reality.

I tried to trademark the first initial skincare brand name.

Which was Bandia Skincare 💕

I was bringing it back to my Irish roots ☘️

Bandia meaning Goddess

My name was too close to a different trademarked name

So after a while of owning the brand I decided to change the name a bit

Be Bandia Skincare

To actually be the Goddess you already are.

Throughout this first year I would have changed the name, added a couple products & felt stronger than ever before

Not realizing how many changes and shifts were normal in a business and to learn it just meant growth not failure.

This opened my mind up in ways I could’ve never have imagined

Before nothing & everything.

It’s crazy to think about how much has happened in these three years.

There were a lot of intense—to say the least—personal things going on behind the scenes.

Now isn’t the time to tell that story fully.

But the lighter version is this…

I was living in a new state, across the country from my family and community. I’d only been there for about two years at this point.

I knew I wanted to start a skincare brand.

I knew I didn’t want my entire career to be behind the chair doing hair.

Did I still want a version of that? Absolutely.

But I wanted so much more.

I just had no idea yet what that “more” was going to look like.

After these pictures, I spent the next year working full time as a hairstylist and full time at Bath & Body Works.

I was making ends meet.

I was burnt out, & dealing with a lot personally.

Then something happened.

My aha moment. 💡

I decided I was going to stop just thinking about creating a skincare brand and actually do it.

A brand that would eventually become Be Bandia Skincare ✨

I worked on it tirelessly; even during slow moments at Bath & Body Works.

There was no reset.

I just kept going.

Then I finally reached out to Pure Barre about becoming an instructor
Something I had wanted to do for literally YEARS.

I quit Bath & Body Works.

And suddenly I was a full-time hairstylist, a Pure Barre instructor, and a soon-to-be skincare brand founder.

And the journey I was about to head down?

Three years later, it still amazes me.

Because somehow… that was only the beginning.

𝓛𝓲𝓯𝓮 𝓰𝓮𝓽𝓼 𝓫𝓵𝓾𝓻𝓻𝔂 𝓼𝓸𝓶𝓮𝓽𝓲𝓶𝓮𝓼 ✨

Goals can change.
Clients change.
Opportunities and titles change.

Lately, some of those things have felt blurry because of change.

I was so used to one specific path for so long. Then things started shifting, even though parts of the path were still familiar.

For a while, I thought some of the opportunities coming my way meant I was becoming less ambitious. Or that saying yes to something new meant changing the things I never wanted to change.

But the truth is, I don’t want to be less ambitious.

And somewhere along the way, I realized I’m actually dreaming bigger than I ever have before.

So big that some of my ambitions seriously sound crazy when I say them out loud.

Some things are evolving.

And some things I worked incredibly hard for may not fit into my life the way they used to.

That part feels blurry.

But maybe blurry doesn’t mean lost.

Maybe it just means the picture is changing.

And lately, for the first time, it all feels incredibly intentional.
