My client hasn’t been in my chair for almost a year… but can you tell? 👀✨
90% of the journey happens outside the salon.
But as a stylist, it’s my responsibility to equip my clients with the education they need to care for their hair in between visits.

✨Yesterday was special.✨

The Lord sent me two beautiful souls—mother and daughter—who were referred by one of my longtime clients that I truly adore. Though their appointments were booked separately, the atmosphere was united. Holy Spirit was in the room, and the experience was more than just hair—it was ministry.

I don’t take it lightly when God uses me. Yesterday, I didn’t just get to transform their locs—I got to speak life into their hearts. That’s the kind of work that fills me up. That’s the kind of encounter I pray for.

To my new clients: thank you for trusting me.
To the one who referred them: thank you for thinking of me.

I saw my client Tiana, who is infamous for always challenging me with creative color. Today we went for an aqua blue, and I have to say — the color came out perfectly. 💙
Beyond the fun of creating something beautiful, we shared an amazing conversation. We laughed, we sang, and honestly, if she stayed another hour, I think we would have even cried. 😄
She came ready with my book for me to sign 📖 — we hugged and went about our day as melanated mothers and phenomenal women.
Before the night is over, I just wanted to shout her out. 💫
