🔥 20 DAYS UNTIL WE STOKE OUR FIRE! 🔥
Was I supposed to do a 21-day countdown for a 21-day program? Yep. Did I start a day late? Also yep. 😂
But as one of my favorite mentors likes to say, we’re striving for progress, not perfection. And honestly, that’s a pretty fitting place to start.
🌶️ So, why Stoke Your Fire?
Because I want to teach you more than how to make a jar of fire c***r.
I want to teach you how to become more self-sufficient with the plants, ingredients, and resources available to you. How to understand what you’re making, why you’re making it, and how to build the skills to make it yourself instead of continually buying it off a shelf.
The goal isn’t to make you a better consumer of herbal products. It’s to help you become a more confident maker of them.
🌿 Why learn with me?
Anyone can become book-smart about plants. You can read the books, memorize the Latin names, and watch every tutorial on the internet.
But my niche in herbalism goes deeper than information you can Google or products you can purchase.
Rooted in Appalachian folk traditions, my approach is about reconnecting with ancestral knowledge, learning to observe the natural world, understanding the resources around us, and putting that knowledge into practice.
It’s about knowing how to do something with your own two hands, understanding the why behind it, and developing the confidence to keep learning long after our program ends.
🔥 Why 21 days?
Because knowledge is one thing. Putting it into practice is another.
Twenty-one days gives us time to learn, ask questions, explore ingredients, establish a routine, and start building skills that can serve us long after November.
We’re not promising to change your entire life in three weeks. We’re making room for small, meaningful steps toward greater self-reliance.
And fire c***r is just the beginning.
Imagine looking at your kitchen, your garden, or the plants growing around your home and seeing possibilities instead of another trip to the store.
Imagine passing those skills on to your children, sharing them with your community, and knowing how to make something yourself because someone took the time to teach you.
That’s the kind of knowledge worth keeping alive.
So let’s talk! 👇
🌶️ Have you ever made your own fire c***r, or do you usually buy it off the shelf?
🌱 What’s one herbal product you wish you knew how to make yourself?
🔥 If you could learn one skill to become more self-sufficient, what would it be?
Tell me in the comments! I want to know what you’re curious about.

🍵 CommuniTea is calling! 🌿
This week, we’re gathering for a little folk magic, natural connection, and some handmade intention setting.
Join one of our lovely attendees, Vanessa & one of our rotating hosts, Shelby Grace. while they guide us in creating Protection & Persistence Charm Bags 🪶🌱
Drawing from the offerings of the elements, like some of our first non-human ancestors, we’ll each choose the natural items that call to us and tuck them into our own charm bags. Each piece carries its own meaning as we set intentions for protection, resilience, and the persistence to keep growing through the darker days ahead.
Think of it as a little reminder to stand your ground through winter, keep your roots strong, and make it through to spring. 🌙
Always rain or shine🌧️🌈☀️
Come as you are, leave with a full cup and something meaningful to carry you through the season✨

🌑🍵 COMMUNITEA: NEW MOON EDITION 🍵🌑
This week, our lovely attendee Amy Griffin is joining us again to guide us through a New Moon Yoga Nidra in preparation for the upcoming new moon on the 10th. 🌚✨
Yoga Nidra is a beautiful way to slow down, settle in, and give yourself permission to just be for a little while with gentle awareness🙏
🧘♀️ Amy will guide us through a restful practice.
🍵 We’ll have some lovely tea to sip.
🌿 You bring yourself, your worries, and an open mind.
🧺 Bring a mat if you have one, but don’t worry if you don’t. We have some to share!
Rain or shine, the tea is on! ☔☀️
Come as you are, find a little stillness, and spend some time connecting with your community.
🍂 A little seasonal reminder: November 4th will be our LAST CommuniTea gathering until spring! So come soak up these final autumn gatherings with us before we tuck in for the winter.

Wow 🤯 CommuniTea was SO illuminating 🕯️
We have an absolutely wild amount of information floating around these days, with equally easy access to misinformation📚😅
It was SO refreshing to hear from an actual therapist that prescription medications can be one version of a tool we use to support executive functioning, not necessarily the ONLY tool in the box💊
We talked about how medication needs can change over time, and that for some people, working with a healthcare professional to taper on or off medication can be appropriate and helpful⏳
But perhaps my favorite takeaway: what we need to support our executive functioning is a realistic, reasonable set of tools that actually helps us accomplish the things in front of us. She gave us a whole packet to support bridging that gap🤝
No shame. No “just try harder.” Just more tools for the kit. 🧰
Julia Smail really knows what she’s doing. 🙏
I’m eager to finish my packet and put some of these tools to work! 😂
Thank you to everyone who came out and made this CommuniTea such a good one. 🫖💛
Reminder:
The last tea (until Spring 2027) will be Nov. 4. We have a fun topic prepared for each Wednesday until then!!
Next weeks topic released Monday!
Stay tuned📻

CommuniTea is getting a new host this Wednesday ☕️
This week, we’re welcoming the owner of Spill The Tea Counseling, Julia Smail, a mental health therapist who works primarily with neurodivergent minds🧠
We’ll be talking about executive functioning, the tools that can actually help when your brain has other plans, and all the wonderfully different ways our minds move through the world🛠️🪛🪚
This is a space for conversation, curiosity, observation, and sharing experiences. Everyone is welcome. Come with questions, come with stories, or just come drink some tea with us💚
And if this kind of conversation speaks to you, she also hosts Death Café at Be Well Bellezza. Death Café is a space to talk openly about death, dying, grief, and all the things we don’t always get comfortable talking about🕊️
