Not all massage therapists use massage tools during their sessions, but I definitely do!
We are lucky to live in a time where we have so many resources and the accessibility to learn new things. I don't use massage tools with every client or every session, but when I do, the reason is simple. It's for YOU. I want to help you the most that I possibly can, and that may or may not include tools.
Using tools is not just a way to pass the time or your therapist being lazy, there is a reason we use them! If you're curious, ask your therapist why they think it would help you and what it does.
When you are informed, it makes it easier to decide if you want a tool as part of your session or not. Don't feel bad if you don't want to try it, or realize you don't like using a tool. It's your massage and your therapist wants you to be comfortable.
At my office I use cupping, gua sha, and hot stones that are no extra cost to you. I am always learning new things and will update you when I learn a new skill or purchase a new tool.

Q: "How Much Do I Dress Down For My Massage?"
A: It's Up To You! Dress Down To Your Comfort Level Can Mean Being Completely N**e, Leaving All Of Your Clothes On, To Anything In Between! Regardless, You Will Always Be Professionally Draped. I Have Plenty Of Clients Who Stay Completely Clothed During Their Massage, So Don't Let That Deter You From Getting Bodywork!
