Hiker Balm

Question: Why do you label your Hiker Balm as a fire starter?

Answer: Because any skin care products must go through FDA testing and approval before being sold. That’s expensive and slow with many barriers for a small business.

Plus, this was developed at home for my wife who is allergic to (almost) all the chemicals added to commercial products. It’s a proprietary mix of natural ingredients and has only been shared with family and friends who asked for it until now.

Question: So why is it the best tasting fire starter.
Answer: We’re backpackers who often need to start a fire with wet materials. I’m a person who touches my mouth often, especially to warm my fingers. I jokingly told my wife this tasted better than anything else I’ve used to start fires.

Backpackers watch their carrying weight so this Hiker Balm fills two functions. That’s always a win.

Yes, we sold out for Christmas (thank you all) but more is being made as I write.

Plus, we’ll have more information to answer your questions. Stay tuned!

We almost sold out but there’s still a few available, just not in time for Christmas. We will have these in stock and our shuttle riders can get one at a deep discount.

HIKER BALM is a great gift for anyone so don’t delay.

Here is the Christmas gift that you can get for anyone and be appreciated. Suitable for secret Santa or hard to shop for family and friends.

HIKER BALM is a gentle combination of natural ingredients to protect your lips and skin from the ravages of weather. Non-greasy and unscented (mild flavor of beeswax), it’s the perfect size to carry in the woods, or on the lake, cutting firewood, or off-roading.

Produced by a local Oklahoma family (us) and sold directly to the public to keep your cost low.

How low? Our Christmas special is just $17.45 and that includes shipping.

What’s the downside? We have limited inventory and if you don’t order now (by the 12th) you may wait too long.
