5 Rules for Extension Care ✨

If you want your extensions to stay beautiful, healthy, and last as long as possible, these 5 little habits make a BIG difference 🤍

1. Never sleep with wet hair
Wet hair is more fragile and prone to tangling, matting, and breakage. With extensions, this can put unnecessary tension on both your natural hair and the extensions. Always make sure your hair is completely dry before bed.

2. Keep products off the scalp and only put on ends.
Oils, masks, and heavy products can cause buildup around your weft and beads. This can affect how they hold but also trap bacteria and could cause mold! Keep your scalp clean and apply your nourishing products from mid-lengths to ends. ✨

3. Always sleep with a low braid or loose ponytail
A little nighttime protection goes a long way! Keeping your hair loosely secured helps prevent unnecessary tangling and friction while you sleep. Bonus points for a silk/satin pillowcase 🤍

4. Thoroughly cleanse between EVERY row
Don’t be afraid to wash your extensions properly! Section your hair and make sure you’re getting in between each row/attachment so you’re removing sweat, oil, and product buildup.
