Sometimes people leave a service unhappy. We’re human—miscommunication happens, expectations aren’t always met, and sometimes things simply don’t turn out as hoped.

But before going straight to social media or leaving a negative Google review, please consider giving the person or business the opportunity to make it right.

At The Foilery, our stylists are independent professionals who each run their own businesses within our salon. As the salon owner, I may not even know there’s been an issue unless someone reaches out. I can’t help with something I don’t know happened.

Reviews absolutely have their place, especially when a legitimate concern has been ignored. But there’s a big difference between a business refusing to make something right and never being given the opportunity at all.

Small businesses aren’t faceless corporations. We’re real people in your community who work incredibly hard to build a reputation that often took years to earn.

Before posting publicly, send the message. Make the call. Give someone the chance to listen, respond, and hopefully make it right.

Accountability matters—but so does communication. ❤️
