❤️ A New Beginning

Some decisions take a long time to make, and this has definitely been one of them.

After 15 years in my salon suite, I’ve decided it’s time for a new chapter. This space has been so much more than where I’ve done hair. It’s where we’ve shared laughter, tears, life updates, celebrations, and quiet moments. Many of you have become like family, and I will always be grateful for the memories we’ve created there.

Over the past several months, ongoing water issues and other challenges have made it increasingly difficult to provide the experience I want every client to have. If you know me, you know I believe your appointment should be peaceful, dependable, and something you look forward to. When I realized I could no longer guarantee that consistently, I knew it was time to make a change.

With a mixture of gratitude and excitement, I’m happy to share that I’ll be moving to Glam Beauty Boutique in Vestavia Hills on August 3!

This decision wasn’t about leaving behind the past. It was about choosing a place where I can continue growing, feel inspired, and give you the level of service you deserve. I truly believe this move will allow me to do just that.

To every client who has supported me over these past 34 years, thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your hair, for cheering me on through every season, and for filling my chair with stories, laughter, and friendship. You’ve made my career so much more meaningful than I ever imagined and i love you for that!

I can’t wait to welcome you into my new salon home. I have a feeling this next chapter is going to be a beautiful one, and I’m so thankful you’re coming with me.

Having a second generation hairdresser bring your hair back to life was so special! Kelly and i started out doing hair together 30 years ago at Hair Reflections. I always wait till last minute to want a refresh and honestly only get it done once or twice a year. Kelly McDonald referred me to her daughter Payton, who has now started to do hair and I remember being in my early 20s doing hair. I trusted her because Kelly is an amazing artist! I think her daughter Payton nailed it!!!!
