My client’s recovery started off a little ROCKY. 🥴 She found a massage therapist on Groupon, and unfortunately things went downhill from there.

By the time she found ME, her stomach was extremely swollen, she was uncomfortable, discouraged, and just not in a good place with her recovery. 😩

LET’S TALK BMI & PLASTIC SURGERY! 🚨

Ladies, your surgeon isn’t asking about your BMI just to give you a hard time! 😩😂 BMI can play a BIG role in how safely you have surgery AND how you recover.

A higher BMI may increase the risk of:
⚠️ Blood clots
⚠️ Infection
⚠️ Anesthesia complications
⚠️ Incisions opening or healing slowly
⚠️ Seromas & increased swelling
⚠️ A more difficult recovery

And listen 👂🏽… BMI is NOT about being skinny! Everybody carries their weight differently, and BMI is only ONE piece of the puzzle. Your surgeon also considers your overall health, labs, blood pressure, medical history and the procedure you’re having.

💗 The goal is SAFETY.
