A good example of this is the story of Joseph. For a lot of life, he stood in the tension of being the youngest and who his family thought least of AND knowing that he was going to be a ruler and have authority over his family.

Many of us (me included) are living in the tension of our current reality and what God has promised us. The waiting has such a way of stretching us but also revealing characteristics that need to be pruned.

The inbetween can either make you fit for the promise or break your faith in God. By the time Joseph was in the palace he was fit for the throne and we know this because when it came to his family and dealing with them at the end, he chose love above all.

To whomever is reading this, with God this current season is worth it, and by his grace will yield you fit for his promise.
