Who knew incorporating guided PEMF into my professional journey would lead to working with this special group of post-op jaw surgery individuals? Although highly effective for addressing airway obstruction, many experience numbness and paresthesia after surgery. Although results vary with each person, PEMF is showing great results to assist in recovery.

Client is 1 week post-op Maxillomandibular advancement (MMA) surgery. Lots of interior/exterior inflammation. Was tripping over his tongue speaking to me when we started. When finished, he stated he didn’t even realize how swollen his tongue was until he could feel it feeling normal again after our short 30 minute session.
