Houston Uncut
Your Houston-area corporate tax-dodging information hub. That's unacceptable.
Post events, pictures and information relevant to the fight for revenue that the people of Texas and the United States are due. US Uncut is a grassroots movement taking direct action against corporate tax cheats and unnecessary and unfair public service cuts across the U.S. Washington's proposed budget for the coming year sends a clear message: The wrath of budget cuts will fall upon the shoulders of hard-working Americans.

If you're in Houston or NYC and consider yourself stuck at work OR stuck at school: considering giving $ or items to the brave ones willing to quit their jobs to occupy Wall St right now. Some are also long-time unemployed people and some are students who have been missing class, just ask about it. Food, water, umbrellas, toiletries, batteries, media contacts. Only give what you can. If you're in the area, maybe just stand with them every now and then. Buy someone a sandwich. Send reusable items when possible and be creative with your donations, we don't have to buy our way towards the undoing of plutocracy.

Some citizen footage of Pete Olson getting a VERY warm welcome from all of his constituents in Clear Lake.
Best part: Room full of angry people chanting "WHERE ARE THE JOBS?!?" while Olson visibly grimaces. Hats off to our partners at Good Jobs = Great Houston for the awesome action!
Pete Olson's Not So Happy Town Hall! Pete Olson gets an earful from people who are not Tea Party. It is not his finest hour!
