Jaclyn Mascione
A salon owner and educator empowering stylist to achieve their career goals through hair and business
8am. Three times a week.
Before the salon even opens.
Because when I bring someone onto my team,
I’m not just hiring help
I’m committing to their growth.
And that’s where I think a lot of salon owners get it wrong.
Assistants aren’t meant to stay assistants forever.
They’re building a career.
They want to know:
Where am I going?
How am I growing?
When do I get on the floor?
And if you don’t have that answer… they’ll find someone who does.
Investment doesn’t always mean money.
It means time. Energy. Intention.
And if you’re so booked behind the chair
that you can’t pour into your people…
it might be time to shift something.
Because the strength of your team
will always reflect the level of investment you give them.
That’s what makes a real educator.
Your success isn’t measured by your title, your following, or how much you know
It’s measured by how many people you’ve helped grow.
The salon owner who doubled their revenue.
The stylist who’s finally fully booked.
The team member who can now take the trips they once couldn’t afford.
The message that says, “I tried your formula… and it was exactly what I’ve been trying to create.”
That’s the win.
Because at the end of the day,
your impact is your resume.
And if you want to become an educator
Start sharing. Start helping. Stop holding back.
You don’t need permission to teach.
You just need the intention to see others succeed.
Being fully booked and busy isn’t always the goal.
Being intentional, profitable, and aligned is.
A full schedule can still feel inconsistent, exhausting, or unpredictable if there’s no strategy behind it.
The shift happens when you stop taking whoever comes in…
and start building a business that attracts the right clients, supports your income goals, and grows with purpose.
Busy will keep you working.
Strategic will build your future.
Save this if you’re ready to move differently in your business.
Not even looking at the camera for this one…
but it needed to be said
As salon owners, it’s our responsibility to make sure we’re giving our team the right education, not just checking a box
We just did a blow dry class
And I know some people think, “everyone already knows how to blow dry”
But the level of blowouts right now?
The polish, the finish, the experience?
That’s what clients are noticing
That’s what’s in
And if we’re not paying attention to that, we’re missing an opportunity for our team to grow
Education isn’t just about learning something new
It’s about learning what’s relevant right now
Based on your clientele and what they’re actually paying for
Because when your team gets better results:
→ clients come back more
→ tickets increase
→ retail goes up
→ confidence goes up
This is how you support your team and your business at the same time
Pay attention to what’s trending in your salon
And train your team on what actually moves the needle
Getting fully booked isn’t about posting more.
It’s about building a business that actually attracts the right clients and pays you well.
Most stylists are working hard… but missing the structure behind it.
That’s why bookings feel inconsistent, content feels confusing, and income doesn’t match the effort.
This workshop is where that changes.
We’re not guessing.
We’re building this step-by-step so you walk away with clarity, direction, and a plan you can actually follow.
If you’re in Dallas and ready to take your business seriously, this is your moment.

This is something I struggle with ALL the time.
Some weeks I’m all in on business.
Other weeks… I need to be all in on my family.
And learning how to shift between those seasons without guilt?
That’s been one of the hardest parts of this journey.
Mom guilt is real.
The constant feeling of “am I doing enough?” is real.
But I’ve had to remind myself
The decisions I make are for my family, my life, and my season.
No one else is living your life.
No one else is carrying your responsibilities.
So trust yourself.
Trust your decisions.
Trust your season.
You are doing better than you think.
If you’ve ever said
“I want to grow my salon”…
but you’re not tracking your numbers yet…
This is where you start.
Let’s break this down simply:
KPI stands for Key Performance Indicators
These are the numbers that tell you what’s actually happening inside your business — not what you feel is happening.
Because feelings don’t scale a business
Data does
And I say this with love!! Most salon owners I talk to have never tracked a single KPI
But they want to grow, hire, scale, and make more money
We can’t do that without clarity
Here are a few basic KPIs every salon owner should at least be aware of:
• Total clients
• New clients
• Client retention
• Average ticket
• Productivity percentage
• Pre-booking rate
These are your starting points
Now here’s the good news
You’re probably already paying for a system that tracks most of this
Your POS system
Before you go build spreadsheets or overcomplicate it
Start there
Go into your reports
Click around
Get familiar
See what it’s already telling you
Now…..real talk
Not all POS systems are 100 percent accurate
So eventually, yes
Manual tracking will give you cleaner data
But that’s not step one
Step one is awareness
Step one is understanding
Step one is just starting
Because once you understand what you’re looking at
Then we can refine it
Then we can clean it up
Then we can scale it
When I work with salon owners, we go deep into KPI tracking monthly
But if you’re not there yet
This is your entry point
You don’t need to do everything
You just need to start
And this right here
Is how you start running your salon like a business
Not just a service provider
Dallas beauty professionals — this one is for you ✨
I wanted to share a little bit more of why I teach business… because I know how frustrating it can feel to work hard, stay busy, and still not feel like things are fully clicking.
I’ve been where a lot of stylists are.
And over the years, I’ve been able to help stylists:
• Double their revenue behind the chair (especially suite and independent stylists)
• Help salon teams grow and hire new stylists to support demand
• Clean up their finances so they’re actually taking home more money
• Fill their books with more aligned, consistent clientele
Not by doing more… but by getting clearer and more strategic.
That’s exactly what I’m bringing to Dallas.
This 2-hour class is a condensed version of the systems and strategies I use to help stylists grow their business with intention:
Booked Out Stylist Blueprint
Clarity → Clients → Cash Flow
If you’re ready to:
• Bring in new clients
• Increase your revenue
• Fill the white space in your schedule
• And build a business that actually feels sustainable
I would love to see you in this room.

Dallas hairstylists and salon professionals!!! I’m coming your way! Eeeekkkkkkk 🤩
I’ve been invited to Dallas to teach a special 2 hour business class designed to help stylists grow their clientele with intention and strategy.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re working hard, posting consistently, and still struggling to attract the right clients, you’re not alone. Most stylists don’t actually have a marketing problem, they have a clarity problem.
When your brand isn’t clear, your ideal client isn’t defined, and your marketing isn’t aligned, it becomes really hard to stay consistently booked.
That’s exactly what we’re fixing in this class.
Booked Out Stylist Blueprint
From Clarity → Clients → Cash Flow
In this workshop we’ll break down the three phases that help stylists build sustainable, fully booked businesses:
• How to clarify your brand so clients understand what you specialize in
• How to define and attract your ideal client
• How to use social media strategically to bring in consistent bookings
Whether your goal is to bring in 10 new clients a month, increase your revenue, want to make profit or finally fill the white space in your schedule, this class will give you a clear plan to move forward.
If you’re a hairstylist or salon professional in the Dallas area ready to grow your business with intention, I would love to see you there.

Most salon owners don’t struggle because they aren’t talented.
They struggle because they’re trying to build a business without clarity.
At one point, I was there too. Working hard, posting consistently, doing all the things…
But my marketing felt heavy.
My messaging felt scattered.
And growth felt harder than it needed to be.
Two books completely changed that for me:
Start with Why and Building a StoryBrand.
One helped me get clear on why my brand exists. What I stand for and who I’m really here to serve.
The other helped me communicate that clearly, so clients instantly understood how my business helps them.
Here’s what I want you to know:
👉 You do not have to figure this out alone.
👉 There are resources, frameworks, and tools that already exist to help you grow.
👉 Learning is not a weakness, it’s a leadership skill.
If your marketing feels confusing, inconsistent, or exhausting, it’s often not because you need to post more, it’s because you need more clarity.
These two books are my favorites when it comes to branding, marketing, and messaging and they’ve played a huge role in the growth of my business.
If you’re serious about building something sustainable, invest in your education.
Your future business will thank you.
Save this. Read them. Apply them. Grow.
Day 2 of annual planning and we knew we had to make it count.
This was likely our last day to sit down like this together, so we went all in. Just focused conversations, real decisions, and mapping out exactly how we want to move into 2026.
Working this way gave us so much clarity. Clarity on our goals. Clarity on our priorities. Clarity in our budget. Clarity on how we want to show up for our team and the business by the end of the year.
This is how we run our business, intentionally, proactively, and with the future in mind. Because success doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when you slow down long enough to plan, align, and commit to the vision you’re building.
If you’re an owner feeling overwhelmed or stuck, sometimes the answer isn’t working harder… it’s stepping away from the chaos and getting clear. This is where momentum is created. This is where goals start turning into reality.
Same person.
Same values.
Different level of clarity, confidence, and leadership.
At the beginning of the year, I was just showing up, figuring things out, building behind the scenes, doing the work even when it didn’t look polished. And over time, the growth started to show. Not just in how I look on camera, but in how I lead, how I speak, and how I carry myself as a business owner.
This is what happens when you stay consistent, invest in yourself, and actually step into the role you’ve been working toward. Growth doesn’t happen overnight. It happens quietly, daily, and then one day you look back and realize you’re standing differently.
If you’re in the “early” version of your year right now, keep going. The growth always shows.
