Leaving your K-tips in too long is one of the fastest ways to create unnecessary tension, tangling, and breakage.

In this class clip, I’m teaching why we recommend K-tip maintenance around the 12 week mark depending on your clients density, growth pattern, and at-home care.

As those bonds grow out, they lose support at the root and start moving in ways they were never designed to. That’s when you start seeing matting, twisting, and stress on the natural hair.

Healthy extensions are about more than a pretty install. Maintenance matters just as much!!!!

I lied to my mom again… Part 2

She said “don’t go too dark.”
I heard “ cherry red with ribbons of dimension.”

This transformation was everything. Rich red/pink tones, dimensional placement, and a color melt that hits different in every lighting. The goal was still red without looking flat, and I’m obsessed with how much movement this color has.

Honestly this is why I love color transformations so much. Watching it all come together from foils to final blend never gets old.

I lied to my mom again. Part 1

She told her not to keep the red… so naturally we compromised by adding back in some depth.

We went back and forth on tones, maintenance, fading, all the things because red hair is definitely a commitment. But honestly? The vision is visioning already.

Part 2 is where we actually do it… and I’m a little scared.

This class was a big one, and every single person showed up ready to learn, ask questions, and get better at their craft. That’s the kind of energy that makes teaching worth it.

I led this course with Hailey by my side as my co-educator, and we had the best time doing it. Grateful for the trust, the work, and the people in that room.
