One thing I didn't fully appreciate when I started this journey is how much courage it takes to reinvent yourself.
I became a licensed cosmetologist at 40 after spending nearly 20 years in corporate America. At times, it felt like I was starting over completely.
What I've learned is that growth rarely looks the way we expect it to.
