It’s SMALL TOWN SATURDAY!

One of my favorite things about being Ms. Midwest North America is discovering the incredible small businesses and big dreams right here in our Midwest communities.

Today’s Small Town Saturday spotlight is Petals and Pages Mobile Bookshop (Marysville, OH—Union County)! 📖✨ A little bookshop on wheels bringing the joy of reading directly to the community. This place is so stinking cute!💕 As I was browsing and getting my purchases together the owner and I chatted a bit. She had told me how excited she was about her dream coming to life, and how she had told her husband that she can’t believe she gets to do this for her job. I love this for her! 🥰👏🏼Sometimes the best stories aren't found in the pages of a book… they're found in the people who create something they love and share it with others.

As a titleholder, I want to use this platform to share important messages and also the dreams of those in small towns across the Midwest. It’s important to me to share and recognize the small shops, the big dreams, and the people who make our communities so special. So, here's your Saturday reminder: Find a local business. Buy from a small shop. Tell someone about a business you love. When we support small, we help big dreams grow.

I am looking for businesses/people/animals/etc. to highlight for next Saturday. If you have something in mind, please reach out. I would love to help share the stories and dreams.☺️

Week 2 of Shine Anyway Friday✨

Last week when I started this series, I was reminded that shining doesn't require a stage or a spotlight. This week, I'm reminded that shining doesn't require perfection either. I feel that I have spent so much of my time waiting until i was "better," "ready," or "good enough."…And maybe a lot of you reading this feel that way. But I have learned that’s where the growth happens. It’s in the middle and the time leading up to what we are preparing to take on. It’s in the trying, the learning, and the showing up again anyways. Don't let fear of being imperfect keep you from making progress. Take the first step. Try the new thing. Learn the lesson. Keep going.

My reminder to myself and to you all: You don't have to have it all together to make a difference. Shine anyway.

Friday Challenge: What's one step you're taking today instead of waiting for the "perfect" moment? Tell me below. I can't wait to cheer you on!

Thankful Thursday

There is something incredibly humbling about serving alongside people who quietly make a difference every single day. I am privileged to get to volunteer alongside those very people at Second Harvest Food Bank. And while my sash and crown help to open doors, the greatest title I can hold is found in having a servant's heart. Every meal packed, every grocery item bagged up and loaded into the care of those in need, every helping hand, and every act of kindness has the power to make someone's tomorrow a little brighter.

Grateful for the opportunity to represent North America Beauty Pageants as Ms. Midwest North America through service. 💙

What are you thankful for?💙👑

North America Beauty Pageants

Wellness Wednesday reminder:

Wellness doesn't always look like a gym, a stopwatch, or a perfect routine. Sometimes it's simply taking a walk, breathing fresh air, and spending time with the ones who bring you joy. 🐾 All of the small, consistent choices add up. Give yourself permission to start where you are and keep moving forward.

What's one thing you're doing for your wellness today? 🌾 Mine was walking my dog, Stormy.

Ms. Midwest North America’s: Titleholder Tip Tuesday

People often ask, “What’s the biggest lesson pageantry has taught you?” Well, it wasn’t how to walk in heels, or how to answer interview questions…Although both of those skills are absolutely necessary. 😆 It wasn’t even how to wear a crown. The biggest lesson has been to show up before you feel ready. There is no “perfect moment”. The opportunities that have changed my life didn't come because I felt completely prepared, or the moment “felt right”. They came because I was willing to say "yes," even when I was nervous.

So, apply for the job. Volunteer for the event. Speak up in the meeting. Introduce yourself. Take the class. Start the business. Try something new!

Confidence isn't something you wait to have.
Confidence is something you build by taking the first step.

💙 The Tuesday challenge is this: What's one thing you've been putting off because you're waiting to feel "ready"? Tell me below. I'd love to cheer you on!👏🏼

🌾 Midwest Motivation Monday 🌾

The Midwest has taught me that the strongest things don't grow overnight. Fields aren't harvested the day they're planted. Bread doesn't rise without patience. Whether it's caring for animals, building relationships, learning a new skill, or chasing a dream, growth takes time. Dreams aren't built in a single moment. It grows through consistency. Through faith. Through showing up…even on the days when no one is watching.

If you're waiting for the "perfect" time to take the next step, let today be your reminder. Just start where you are. Use what you have. Trust God with the rest. Your roots don't limit your future…they strengthen it.

Happy Monday, Friends!💙👑

—Sunday Shine—

Some of life's sweetest moments happen in the quiet. Today, my first win, after being blessed with another day of life, was pulling a homemade loaf of sourdough out of the oven. This was only my second attempt, and while it's far from perfect, it's better than the first. But that’s the thing, growth rarely happens all at once. It comes one small step, one lesson, and one attempt at a time.

To me, Midwest Made is about so much more than pageants. It's about finding purpose in everyday moments, serving others, trying new things, and being grateful for the life God has given me. You don’t have to wait for a crown, a title, or the "perfect" moment to shine.

So, my seed of encouragement to you is this: Bloom where God has planted you...and shine anyway. 🌾🍞✨

☕🍂 HAPPY AUG-TOBER!

Yes... I'm one of ‘THOSE’ people. 😂 The pumpkin spice creamer is out, and I'm fully embracing my favorite season. There's something so special about fall in the Midwest. Whether it’s the crisp mornings, county fairs, changing leaves, football Fridays, pumpkin patches, or the small-town traditions they just all bring communities together.

As Ms. Midwest North America, I'm looking forward to celebrating those moments with all of you throughout the year. After all, that's what Midwest Made: Big Dreams, Small Town Roots is all about.

Now tell me... Team Pumpkin Spice or Team "It's Too Early"?

🌻 Shine Anyway Friday 🌻

Find the table where people celebrate your dreams instead of questioning them. The right people won't dim your sparkle, compete with your light, or convince you that your dreams are too big. They'll cheer you on, challenge you to grow, and remind you that you're capable of more than you ever imagined. If someone constantly makes you feel like you have to become smaller to belong...you're simply sitting at the wrong table. Your light was never meant to be dimmed.✨

💙Midwest Made Reminder💙
Find the table where people celebrate your dreams instead of questioning them.

🌾This Week's Midwest Made Challenge:
—Encourage one person who's chasing a dream. A few kind words can change someone's entire week.

🤍Affirmation:
—I don't have to become smaller to belong. I was created to shine.

👇Question of the Week:
—Who has encouraged you to dream bigger?

Big dreams. Small-town heart.
Shine anyway. 👑💙

In addition to my auditions that I’ve submitted and my work in sports medicine, I have been busy as Ms. Midwest North America…and I wouldn’t have it any other way. North America Beauty Pageants

I am one week into my journey as Ms. Midwest North America…and I’m continuing to put this title to work.

✔️ One appearance at the Clark County Fair—Ohio
❤️ Proud member of the Heart & Soul Team for Ronald McDonald House Charities
🥫 Volunteer at Second Harvest Food Bank

A crown is just a crown without a purpose. Mine is meant to serve, encourage, and make a difference—one appearance, one conversation, and one act of kindness at a time.

ATTN MIDWEST STATES—GREAT PLAINS & GREAT LAKES:
If you’re planning a community event, school program, fundraiser, ladies luncheon, festival, parade, or special celebration and would like to add a little (or a lot!) of sparkle, I’d love to be part of it. Feel free to reach out. I would be honored to visit your event! 💙👑
