Grateful to have spent time with IU Indianapolis students at the Tea's Me Cafe Indy campus location last week! 🫖🫶🏾✨

As part of their Spring Forward Mini-Week Series, we facilitated a Self-Care Workshop & Fireside Chat centered on holistic self-care—naming how stress shows up in the body, and how external stressors like academics and relationships can impact mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

What stood out most was how quickly the conversation shifted once space was created; how many students were navigating more than what’s visible, yet still showing up and pushing through.

In high-pressure seasons like finals, self-care isn’t optional. It’s a tool for regulation, resilience, and staying grounded. 🧘🏾‍♀️

And if we’re being honest, moments like this always bring us back to why we do this work, and how much our own understanding of self-care continues to evolve.

In alignment with National Arts & Humanities Month, MELI transformed the showroom into a space where expression and education meet experience — blending fashion, music, artistry, and storytelling that reflect the richness of our culture. 💫
