Just me, my husband, the kids, and our four-legged coach reminding us to PICK UP THE PACE. 😂🏃‍♀️ Sometimes the best runs aren’t about pace or distance, but getting the whole family outside and making memories together. ❤️

A little reminder that compassion, empathy, and basic human decency should be the bare minimum in nursing. Especially in a skilled nursing facility, where residents are often at their most vulnerable and depend on you for things they can no longer do for themselves.

These are people’s parents, grandparents, spouses, and loved ones. They deserve patience, dignity, respect, and kindness. They deserve to be spoken to like human beings, not treated like burdens because they need help.

Being short-staffed, overwhelmed, or having a bad day doesn’t give you the right to take it out on the people in your care. You chose a profession that requires you to care for others, and that responsibility doesn’t disappear when the job gets hard.

You don’t have to be the perfect nurse, but you do have to be a decent human being. If you can’t show compassion to someone who depends on you, it might be time to seriously reconsider why you’re in this profession.

Stop being a sh*tty nurse. These are human beings who deserve better. 🤍

✨ No price increase for pass holders
✨ No more penalty for canceling a reservation
✨ You can now cancel or modify your reservation until 11:59 PM on the day of your reservation

That last one is HUGE. 🙌 No more stressing about a last-minute change of plans and getting hit with a no-show penalty!

6 miles yesterday 🏃‍♀️ and somehow I’m fitting marathon training into the chaos of being a mom of three AND nursing school. 😅

Between school, kids, homework, meals, bedtime and everything else that comes with mom life, finding time to run isn’t always easy. But I’m learning that I don’t need the perfect schedule—I just need to make the time when I can.
