‘Do not fall into a mechanistic, reductionist trap of seeing all medical problems as due to one or two causes. We are incredibly complex organisms and the health practitioner must always attempt to see patients clearly as they truly are - not fit them to a Procrustean bed based on the practitioner’s limited understanding.’ -Jean Pierre Barral New favorite word… Pro·crus·te·an /prōˈkrəstēən/ (especially of a framework or system) enforcing uniformity or conformity without regard to natural variation or individuality No system in the body ever works alone. Never gets injured alone. Never heals alone. There is no such thing as an isolated injury. There is no such thing as isolated healing. The human body is under no obligation to make sense to you. PSSST…there’s never just one cause. STOPCHASINGPAIN.com❤️
