Clean installation is the foundation for a healthy grow out.

Also worth printing out, this was not the hair extensions first installation. You can see the color has a lot of yellow and orange undertones. I swear I spent my career fighting this. THEN I hit me, it’s HARD WATER.

Most of the complaints I have from clients… dry hair, hair loss, breakage, yellow, even dandruff… just start with the water source!!! Please!!

It is a solution, a small investment, with big pay off.

Dimensions helps keep it natural. Not as low maintenance as as a root melt, but the smudge and depth keeps the evolution of color pretty at all stages including back to the chair in about 8+ weeks for touch up.

Results include happy healthy hair, smiles, and confidence 🫶🏻

Lighting is important.

This is the same day, same person… just outside.

Knowing what you want, and knowing it could look different in all the different lights, including your bathroom light helps manage expectations.

I’m really into a low maintenance luxury look. I much as I love blonde I love it poppin next to a rich chocolate. When the light hits it just right… it’s sorta “mushroom” if you know what I mean.

Biggest take away here!!!!! HARD WATER

I only continued after I WATCHED her purchase the water filter.

All effects of hard water - Yellow, breakage, build up ( “dandruff”), hair loss… on and on. ALSO : other health conditions have similar side effects, I’m not saying it’s a cure all, but give yourself a leg up, water is SOOOO important!

Although I mostly do and prefer the Natural Beaded rows I have long love affair with tape ins before I found the sewn in technique. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I still use this application here and there, mostly in combination with the sew in technique. Tape allows for smaller more tedious details around the hair lines. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
