Not every extension install is created equal. 🤍
A sweet client came to me just two weeks after having her extensions installed because she was already in so much pain. She couldn’t comfortably shampoo her hair, her scalp was incredibly tender, and she was experiencing significant shedding.
When I removed everything, I found excessive tension, tape-ins placed in areas they shouldn’t have been, loose beadwork that I could literally slide out by hand, and hair that had been pulled from the root due to the amount of stress on her scalp. My priority was protecting the integrity of her natural hair.
We safely removed the extensions, gave her hair a restorative treatment, refreshed her color, and most importantly, created a proper color match for her extensions so everything blended seamlessly and comfortably.
This is exactly why choosing an experienced extension specialist matters. Extensions should never be painful. They should never leave you afraid to wash your hair. And they should never put the health of your natural hair at risk.
