If you’re new here, I thought it was time to properly introduce myself.

I’m Chloe, the owner and esthetician behind Southern Peach Skin Bar. I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, and I’ve always loved the beauty industry. What started as a love for makeup eventually turned into a passion for skincare and helping people feel confident in their own skin.

At 20, I took a leap of faith and opened Southern Peach Skin Bar. It was scary, exciting, and one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

People often ask where the name came from. Southern Peach Skin Bar was inspired by my grandma, Georgia. She was the definition of a true Southern woman—kind, hardworking, welcoming, and someone who made everyone feel at home. I wanted my business to carry that same feeling, where every client walks in feeling welcomed and leaves feeling cared for.

Over the last few years, life has given me a new perspective. It’s reminded me how important it is to slow down, appreciate people, and lead with kindness. That’s exactly what I hope you’ll feel from the moment you walk through my door.

Southern Peach Skin Bar has never been just about facials. It’s about creating a space where you can relax, learn about your skin, and feel confident in it.

Today I’m feeling especially grateful for the freedoms we get to enjoy every day. I’m so thankful for all of the men and women who have served our country, and I’ll never forget those who gave their lives so we can have those freedoms. Their sacrifice is something we should never take for granted.

Owning my own business has been one of the biggest blessings in my life, and today it made me think about the women who came before me. It wasn’t until 1988, with the Women’s Business Ownership Act, that many of the barriers women faced when trying to get business funding and resources were addressed. Women could own businesses before then, but many couldn’t even get the financing they needed without facing discrimination. Because of the women who fought for those opportunities, I get to live out my dream every day, and that’s something I’m incredibly thankful for.

At the same time, my heart goes out to the women in other parts of the world who still don’t have those same opportunities or freedoms. I hope one day every woman has the chance to build the life she wants and chase her dreams.

Today I’m celebrating our freedom, remembering those who sacrificed everything to protect it, and feeling grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given.
