Color Correction!

Taking this beauty back to her natural hair has taken some time, but we finally did it!
Not going to lie, when she called and told me what had happened to her hair I literally CRIED!!
(because I’m her mom)
She lives out of state and just wanted to go back to her natural hair color. We had been keeping her a blonde for years and she was tired of the up keep. Well they turned her dark brown
So this is the Journey of Color Correction.

Step one:
I transitioned her from an extremely dark brown..to “Cow boy copper” see pic below. Using Malibu CPR and Malibu color correction process. After which I still had to do a bleach cap and then color her hair.
This process took over 6 hours.
Step two:
I had her wait 6 weeks and had her do K18 treatments before we did anything else so we could save the integrity of her hair. I also wanted to give her natural hair enough time to grow out so I would be able to color match her natural root.
Step three:
Full head of heavy Teasy lights, Root Tap, Low lights and an all over glaze to top everything off. Another 6 hour process.
Step four:
Textured cut with a long lob and curtain bangs

So happy to have my girl back to her Natural Hair!
