Wrapping up the exterior on this gorgeous ADU. This back corner space was to be the mower garage. The architect owner envisioned it as a sauna and invited me to make the dream a reality, so we designed and created a sauna to meet the aesthetic of the rest of his project. This was challenging and fun and in the end, beautifully rewarding. A few finishing touches and on to the next project, for both of us. Artists never stop.
Home sanctuary. A magickal little wellness ADU as part of a detatched two car garage expansion. The inside is gorgeous and I’m grateful the architect owner envisioned turning the mowers garage space into a 14’x5.5’ wood fired sauna.
Challenge accepted and majestic sauna experience delivered. It’s so peaceful it is the best lounge, reading, and relaxing space. Light the fire, open the interior door, heat the whole ADU, and enjoy your coffee and a book perched with a natural landscape surrounding you.
Asiago, our new baby, has been a new and creative experience for me. He has only inspired more beautiful creations in my heart. Stay tuned. And give the little guy a follow too. He is a pocket wolf, lover, adventurer, track star, and the official bathhouse dog for Campo Sol , Kansas City’s first mobile bathhouse and sauna garden coming soon. Asiago
