For Strange Women

We are sadly no longer able to ship to the EU. The new EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) rules make cross-border shipping nearly impossible for small businesses because they require separate, costly national registrations and local representatives in every single destination country.

It is unfortunate because we have always been conscientious about our packaging, minimizing as much plastic and waste material as possible since beginning in 2009. I love that larger brands are being held accountable for wasteful packaging now, but they are the only ones that can handle the costs associated with the legal registration to prove that they are complying.

We will explore alternative logistics in the coming year and hope to find a way to shop to the EU again.

The fever has broken ~ we had to remove some of our products during the extreme heat to protect them from transit issues, and now everything is back and ready to ship- including our best seller since 2013, London Fog.

Next Sunday- PERFUME CLUB #3

Meet other perfume fans in the area while smelling and learning about natural (and maybe even some unnatural) materials.

This session will be all about our favorite perfume recommendations. Everyone is encouraged to bring samples or bottles of their favorite scents to spray/apply on scent strips and share with the group. All types of scents are welcome.

Limited Edition: CELADON SKY
The birds are silent. There’s an ominous shade of celadon green filtering through the overcast sky. The air comes to a standstill before the hail, the sirens, the tornado. This perfume is a tribute to that sense of peace before the storm. A mixture of sweet terpenic herbs, rapidly cooling clouds, and the static charge in the atmosphere.

I know what you’re thinking- It’s not time for the new moon yet. But the thing is, the crew is heading to Taos to celebrate Jill’s marriage and we didn’t want to miss a Limited Edition release. This is the 180th consecutive new moon that we have released a new perfume, but since we will be closed next week, we are releasing it early :)

The accord extrait release today sold out in less than an hour so I apologize if you missed it! However we also listed these long requested empty hearts of glass with pipettes to fill with any perfume you want.
Tara adorns each with silk tassels - available in black and ivory. As far as we know these bottles are deadstock. Luckily we stocked up.

Thursdays full moon release is going to be a small batch of nostalgia for the early 2000s goths specifically 🖤 we don’t expect anyone else to understand

Limited Edition Perfume Release: BLACKCURRANT

In European folklore, blackcurrants are known as an elixir of long life and protection from evil spirits. This perfume has a tart, vibrant opening of raspberry, grapefruit, and bergamot. A backdrop of jammy florals and crushed poplar buds introduce the moody, dark base of pure blackcurrant fruit. Over time it settles into an oaky, deep-red essence of dried berries.

The Limited Edition perfume will drop on Wednesday’s New Moon 🖤
This one is is named for a natural material that inspired an entire formula of 20+ other accents notes built around it. Aged for months to smooth out the depth and complexity, and ready for a seasonal shift.

DIANTHUS

Otherwise known as carnation, this bloom is in our opinion one of the most underrated of the florals. This accord recreates the dark coumaric heart of the ribboned petals with its signature hint of clove and rose-like depth.

This is another one based on a limited edition I made years ago. Although similar to that formula, this one is darker and a higher concentration. So far our in-store customers are loving it.
