HELP! I think mums are so beautiful- the colors, the texture - but I avoid them like the plague because they die so fast! I cannot for the life of me keep these things alive, so I just don’t buy them.

Are there tried and true ways to keep these things thriving?

TELL MEEEEEEEEE PLEEEEEEASE!

Sometimes you just need a fresh set of 20” extensions to make you feel some sort of way. 🥰🔥

This transformation?! 🔥🔥🔥

The length.
The fullness.
The movement.
The color.

I’m obsessed with how much of a difference extensions can make - not just to your hair, but to the way you FEEL in it. 🤍

🍂 It’s getting to be that time of year… ready or not! 😂

And admittedly, I spend SO much time tending to our garden and landscaping all summer that when fall hits, I kind of just leave it to Jesus. 😂🙏🏼

It’s his garden now. 😂

BUT every spring I’m kicking myself…

🐰 Why did I let the bunnies eat my landscaping down to NOTHING?!
✂️ Why didn’t I cut everything back like I was “supposed to”?!
🐭 Why didn’t I do more to prevent the vole takeover?!

Because every spring our yard is basically a vole highway. 😂 The little paths EVERYWHERE. 🤦🏼‍♀️

So this year, I’m getting ahead of it!

I bought chicken wire last year and attempted to make my own little cages around the landscaping…

AWFUL. 0/10. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. 😂

Hard to bend. Hard to connect. Hard to make look decent. And I was left with approximately 47 battle wounds. 😅

This year I found these little cages and OH MY GOSH. 🙌🏼

SO much easier. No fighting with chicken wire. No wrestling with metal. No bleeding. 😂

I’ve got the right tools for the job this year and I’m feeling MUCH more prepared going into winter.

And for the voles - I won’t use poison, but I’ve found a few things that have helped in the past. The biggest game changer we learned from our neighbor last year?

🌶️ CAYENNE PEPPER. 🌶️

CHEAP. Natural. And apparently very offensive to voles. 😂🙌🏼

The only downside? I maced myself approximately 8,793,937 times while applying it. 💀😂

So if you try it… don’t say I didn’t warn you!

I still do pretty hair too 😉

I’ve been seeing SO many cute little cropped jeans with the ruffle hem lately, so on a whim I ordered these… and THEY FIT LIKE A GLOVE. 😍🙌🏼

I was genuinely shocked because jeans have always been a HARD thing for me to find.

I have a smaller waist, bigger butt, pretty straight through the hips, short-waisted and long legs… basically my body decided to make jean shopping a personality test. 😂

Bless my mom for putting up with me trying to find jeans in middle school/high school. 😅😂 - seriously a saint.

But THESE?! 👏🏼

The fit. The stretch. The waist. The way they hug without being uncomfortable. And that little ruffle hem?! 😍

I feel like I finally found a pair that was made for my weirdly specific jean requirements. 😂

So obviously I had to share because when you find a good pair of jeans, you tell your girlfriends. 🫶🏼
