A huge thank you to every person who made this day possible. Whether you donated school supplies, served food, gave haircuts, volunteered your time, or simply showed up with a willing heart, you made a difference in the lives of local children and families.
We are grateful for everyone who partnered with Choppers Barbershop to help students head back to school with confidence and the supplies they need for a great year.

**Traffic Alert 🚧**
W. Mountain Street is closed at Helper Street due to a water main break.
Please avoid the area if possible and use an alternate route. If you must travel through the area, use extreme caution and follow all posted detours and directions from personnel on scene.

We are without water and working bathrooms today, we will not be able to open as usual.
See you tomorrow!
Some areas are supposed to be without water services on Wednesday due to a planned water shutoff. However, FOX8 has received several calls from people in the Kernersville area and Forsyth County reporting outages in areas outside of those planned in the release.
Let us know in the comments if you are suffering from the outage as well.

We’re proud to announce our first recipient of the David Dixon & Scottie Craven Memorial Scholarship, Ryleigh Collins.
After reviewing the applications, our committee found Ryleigh to be an outstanding candidate who exemplifies the character, dedication, and work ethic this scholarship was created to recognize.
We are excited to invest in her future and wish her continued success as she pursues her educational and career goals.
