Salon Barnes & Barnes is looking for a shampoo assistant. We are located in the Bearden area, 5103 Kingston Pike. Hours would be Thursday through Saturday with some occasional Wednesdays. Salon Barnes & Barnes would like to announce our reopening on Friday, May1st! We are so excited to see everyone again, however, we will be complying with our Mayor & the KCHD with strict guidelines for reopening. We ask for your support & your patience as we implement guidelines to keep you and our employees safe.

Guidelines are as follows:

• All services are by appointment
only
• All employees & guests must
wear masks at all times upon
entering salon. May not be
removed for any reason
• Employees & guests will be
screened daily for Covid 19
through a series of questions &
temperature taken via
contactless infrared
thermometer
• Only guests receiving services
allowed in salon. No one allow-
ed in waiting area
• No one allowed presenting
symptoms of sickness
• Employees required to wash
Hands or use hand sanitizer in
between each guest
• All works areas will be 6ft or
farther apart
• All stations, chairs, & tools
must be disinfected in between
each guest
• Freshly laundered capes for
each guest
• Shampoo bowls & chairs
disinfected in between each
guest

We are so thankful to be opening and we want you to know that we take these guidelines very seriously & we feel it’s our responsibility to keep you safe while in our salon. Please note that if we are running behind for some unseen reason, we will call or text to notify you.

Thank you again for your patience as these requirements will take more time than normal. We love all of you & believe that our guests are the best in Knoxville!

This is one of our favorite people, Linda Sullivan, getting her color done the Covid 19 way. We dropped off supplies at her home & her beautiful daughter, Grace, did all the work! Grace definitely has a future in the cosmetology business...no....she’s going to do bigger & better. We love all the Sullivans! Everyone stay safe during these unprecedented times! All of Salon Barnes & Barnes guests are our favorites, however, we have a special favorite guest that we would like to recognize. This is Mary VanBeke and Mary is 103 years old! She is delightful and an inspiration to all of us. She’s gets around very well and has a great sense of humor...Mary, we love you!
