The request was a dimensional blonde with lots of texture and some pops of color. I delivered with a heavy balayage, a base break and panels of joico intensities, finishing it off with a heavily textured cut!

Sometimes these transformations run well into the night and thankfully my lovely clients are always willing to help me out with an adorable selfie. (and bonus baby!)

A lovely violet-red balayage to brighten up a Monday morning, and a message to my clients: there will be a change to my schedule starting next week: I will not be available for appointments on Mondays and Tuesday's any longer. I will be able to schedule Wednesday through Friday and Saturday mornings.

When you've spent the last year with a particular head of hair, nurturing it, battling it, occasionally cursing at it, you begin to feel possessive. It's mine! I did that! Love this balayage babe!

Like with any color service, one of the most important parts of a fashion color service is understanding what the hair will really let you do. She had previously been a blue, green and yellow colormelt and I knew I would never get all that out, so I worked with it instead of against it!
