Are you thinking about trying waxing, or are already a frequent flier? If so, keep reading for some before waxing tips to get the most out of your service ✨️

Your hair MUST be as long as a grain of rice! If your hair is too short, the wax cannot adhere to it enough to pull it out.

Keep your skin MOISTURIZED! This will help for a number of reasons. If your skin is dry, it can be more painful when getting waxed, and it can also make it harder for the hair to come out.

EXFOLIATE EXFOLIATE EXFOLIATE! This is SO important, especially for areas like the legs or a Brazilian. When you don't exfoliate your skin, sebum and dead skin builds up in your hair follicles and grips the hair you're trying to have removed, making it harder to get out. Hair can also become trapped under layers of dead skin, making it impossible to get to with wax.

If you are having facial waxing done, STOP RETINOL USE at least a few days before having your service. Retinol increases skin sensitivity and can thin the top layer of your skin. This is extremely important when using soft wax as the wax adheres to your skin, and if your skin is too thin or damaged it can get ripped off. This is completely avoidable!
