We asked our apprentice turned instructor April:
“If you knew you couldn’t fail here, what kind of instructor would you become?”
Her answer:
“The kind of instructor I would want to become is one who’s known for her presence, not just her choreography and playlist’ (which are fire).
“Whose room is full of people who feel seen. Who have space held for them to show up, have fun on the bike, and still get a workout that challenges them.”
Yeah. That. 🥹
Because we’re not just training people to lead classes at ALTAR.
We’re developing instructors who know how to hold a room.
April, has ridden in our rooms, worked the front desk at other studios and now holds the podium. We are so proud of the people on our team who keep setting goals. April, you’re becoming her. 🦋

We’re not just adding instructors, we’re building the team that will carry ALTAR into its permanent home.
Today, we can confidently say: this is the team. Our Altar team is now complete. 🙌🏻
The first year of any team is the foundation for everything that follows, and we knew we had to be intentional about every person who walked through these doors.
Welcome Janon and Monica.
✨ Janon brings 30+ years of experience in fitness and education.
✨ Monica has managed studios, coached 1,000+ classes, and is an accomplished attorney.
✨ Outside the studio, these women continue to lead as respected professionals one as an educator and one as an attorney.
They don’t just bring experience. They bring leadership, humility, and a commitment to raising the standard for everyone around them.
With the addition of these two, we know we’re already making waves and we’re only getting started.
You’ll find them leading on both the strength floor and the cycle side, and we can’t wait for you to experience what they bring to this community.
