Hi Guys,

I'm Shelly Winters Black and I happy to bring you my On-line Pageant Coaching Program. If you don't know I have been involved in the Pageant Industry for over 20 years now. I started as a contestant then became a Pageant Director and a Pageant Coach.

Heck I've even gave it away because I really want to spread the message that training for pageants is a great way to improve yourself.

That is why I decided to start this On-line Pageant Coaching Program. By using the internet I can reach people all over the world who are in need of quality coaching.

You're Equipped for a Purpose



God uses people like you, regular folk with work and family responsibilities, mortgages and busy lives. The Bible says, 'we are...created...to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.' Note the word 'prepared.' It's the same word that's used for making sure a team has the training and equipment it needs to win. The truth is, we are ...'God's instruments to do his work'... (1 Peter 2:9). When do you know the true value of an instrument? When it's in the hands of a master! So put your life into the Master's hands and watch what He does with it. He 'saved us...not because of anything we did... but because of God's purpose...before time began' (2 Tim 1:9). And He 'has given each of [us] a gift from his great variety...to serve one another' (1 Peter 4:10); 'gifts...to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church' (Eph 4:11-12). Do you still think your life doesn't count for much? Jesus said, 'Go and make followers of all people in the world...Teach them to obey everything that I have taught you, and I will be with you always' (Matt 28:19-20). You're not just another face in the crowd; your life has value and purpose, even on those days when you feel totally inadequate. So, 'Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart...since...you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward' (Col 3:23-24). Can you think of any greater incentive than that moment when you stand in His presence and hear, 'Well done,' for giving it your best shot?

Making appearances are vital in developing your communication skills!

Did you know that you can practice your pageant interview skills while participating in local appearances? Suggested tips below.

Practice introducing yourself. You’d be surprised by how many pageant contestants feel a little awkward when introducing themselves to others. It takes a lot of confidence to walk into a situation and introduce yourself to the people you’re meeting. But just by practicing the art of introducing yourself, you’ll gain poise and self confidence that will pay off in the interview room. When at an appearance, make a point of introducing yourself to as many new people as possible. If it’s a small group, make sure you introduce yourself to everyone there. If it’s a larger group, make a goal for yourself based on the number of people there and how much time you have. Say hello, mention your name and title, look at them in the eyes and shake the person’s hand. By working on your introduction skills, your confidence will grow and you’ll feel better prepared to meet your next set of judges!

Try Talking to people you don’t already know. Most of us interact with the same people every day, day in and day out. So, make a point of talking with as many people as possible at your appearance that you don’t already know. This exercise will increase your ability to speak effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds and develop your ability to find some common ground for a brief conversation.

When making appearances as a Queen, wearing your crown and banner is important for both your pageant director and your self. This is part of your responsibility as a title holder. Using the visibility of the crown and banner will open many doors for you on both a professional and personal level. So when making appearances, Wear the Banner Of Opportunity proudly!
