Scar and Stretch Mark Rejuvenation, aka Scar, and Stretch Mark Camouflage, are two treatments. A tattooing method is used where scars and stretch marks are camouflaged with either a natural serum or medical-grade pigments that match your skin tone.

Same procedure, two very different approaches.
The first ar**la was done by another artist a while back. Perfectly round, hard edges, and if you look closely you can see new scarring that formed around it; those milky, cloudy white areas. That’s trauma from how it was worked.
The second one is mine, on a different client.
Real ar**las aren’t perfect circles. They’re round, but slightly irregular, with edges that fade into the skin instead of stopping at a hard line. Softer and imperfect. Looks more natural. If a client specifically asks for a perfect circle I’ll absolutely do it, but when it’s my call, this is why I go softer.
The other half of it is technique. I know a lot of clients want full saturation in one session, and I get it. But we’re working over scar tissue that’s already been through trauma. You have to read the skin and know when to stop. Push it too hard and you create new scarring on top of what we were trying to cover.
That’s why this is a buildable service. Two sessions isn’t me stretching it out, it’s me protecting your skin.

Mastectomy, and the part that comes after it. 🤍

Let’s talk about ni**le reconstruction, because most people have no idea what it even involves. For some patients after a mastectomy, it’s an option to have a ni**le rebuilt using the skin that’s already there. Basically the surgeon pinches and folds that skin and stitches it into a little raised shape. If you’re wondering whether it’s an option for you, that’s something to talk through with your surgeon or your doctor.
And like anything surgical, it comes with risks. Infection, healing issues, and the one I hear about most, flattening. It’s pretty common for a reconstructed ni**le to soften or lose projection over time. This client’s held up beautifully, and I was so happy for her, because that part isn’t guaranteed.
But here’s what catches people off guard. Even when everything goes right, you’re left with shape and zero color. No ar**la at all. Just the same tone as everything around it. That’s where I come in.
Here’s the order. First photo is her before. Then you’ll see her right after our first session, red and bright and irritated, which is not the result, that’s just what fresh work looks like. Next is that same session fully healed, so much softer and more settled. Then her second session fully healed, with more color and more detail built in. And the last one is from her follow up visit, where she wanted a little more color on the raised part, so we did a quick touch up right there.
One thing worth knowing, tattooing a raised area like a ni**le is genuinely tricky. The skin has to be pulled taut for ink to go in well, and that’s hard on something so small. It still turned out beautifully.

You’re not a candidate for scar camouflage if you expect one session to do it. 🤍
That’s the honest answer, and it’s the biggest reason I turn people away. Not a medical contraindication. An expectation one.
Here’s why one session isn’t enough:
Scar camouflage is buildable by design. I’m layering color gradually so the result settles in looking like skin, not like a tattoo. If I saturated it all in one pass, it would look exactly like what it is.
And I’m working on scar tissue, which behaves nothing like healthy skin. It takes ink unpredictably. Some areas hold it beautifully, some barely hold it at all, and I don’t fully know which until we’ve done a session and watched it heal.
That’s not a flaw in the process. That IS the process.
Minimum two sessions. Most scars take two to four. Some take more.
If you’re good with that, we’re going to do great work together. If you’re hoping to walk out done in one afternoon, I’d rather tell you now than take your deposit and disappoint you later.

Today we celebrate Previvors. If you haven’t heard the term, a previvor is someone who carries a hereditary cancer risk often through a genetic mutation like BRCA and chooses proactive care before a cancer diagnosis ever happens.
Being a previvor isn’t about fear. It’s genetic testing, increased screening, risk-reducing surgery, restorative tattooing every step is an act of courage. It’s choosing to know, choosing to act, and choosing yourself.
