Trimming your hair will make it grow faster.

That’s a MYTH!!

Your hair doesn’t grow faster if you cut it. What trimming does though, it keeps your hair healthy so that as you’re cutting your split ends you’re preventing hair breakage and helping it grow more evenly over time.

Next time your hairstylist says you need a trim know that she is telling you to maintain your hair health and if your goal is to grow it, schedule the time in between haircuts a little longer. Most definitely, don’t skip your hair trims.

One of best decisions I made for my career was working for myself. It was one of the scariest and one of the most rewarding moments of my career.

Moving from a commission salon to a salon suite, it was scary and uncertain at the beginning. I wasn’t sure I could do it. Especially, because I had moved to a new state and had to start all over. Personally, one of my favorite hair techniques is adding dimension ‘nuances of color to the natural tones. It brings hair to life. It’s low maintenance, and just enough to create beautiful color with minimal hair damage. The best part, the color will last 3-4months.
