POV: From mapping to the final tattoo. 🎀

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this is a perfect time to talk about what 3D ar**la restoration can mean for someone who has walked through breast cancer and reconstruction.

My client had been using a prosthetic ar**la, and while these prosthetics truly serve an amazing purpose—and hats off to the people who create them—she wanted something different.

The process begins with careful mapping. We determine the appropriate size and placement, then select a customized color palette and pigments designed to complement her individual skin tone and natural coloring.

Once everything is mapped and approved, we begin the tattooing process. A 3D ar**la restoration session can take approximately 3–4 hours, depending on the individual and the work being performed.

Every detail matters—from symmetry and placement to color, dimension, shading, and creating the illusion of natural depth.

✨ Why Nano Combo Brows Are My Favorite—Especially When There Isn’t Much Brow to Work With! ✨

This beautiful client didn’t have a lot of natural brow hair to work with, so creating a fuller-looking brow while keeping it soft, natural, and believable was the goal. 🤎

Instead of relying on traditional microblading, I use a machine to create ultra-fine Nano strokes that mimic the appearance of individual brow hairs. The result is a softer, more natural effect without the same level of repetitive trauma associated with manually implanted microblading strokes.

Because the lips are a mucous membrane, some slight swelling and lengthening can happen right after Lip Blush. Don’t let the fresh color or swelling fool you—the lips will settle quickly!

💗 What to expect:
• Swelling typically goes down within about 24 hours
• The visible healing process is usually around 3 days, give or take
• Lip Blush can heal approximately 40% lighter than the color implanted
• The final healed color will be softer and more natural than what you see immediately after the procedure

And here’s something many people don’t realize…

A touch-up isn’t automatically required! 🙌

If you love your healed color and there hasn’t been significant color loss, you may be perfectly happy with your results for a few years before needing anything done.

If you decide later that you want your lips a little deeper or darker, a touch-up can be performed to build up the color. 💄
