It’s officially been a week since I received the Wolf of Chicago Award, and it still feels surreal. 🐺🏆

To my supporters—the ones who show up for me day in and day out—speak positivity to me and speak to other with purpose about me, thank you. I see you, and I never take your support for granted.

It feels weird having this much light shine on me. I literally be out the way. My wife hears the conversations behind the scenes: everything I’m chasing, everything I’m building, and how sometimes, no matter how much I accomplish, I still feel like I’m never enough.

I’m not used to receiving awards, or even much acknowledgment for the work I’ve put in, because to me it never mattered. So I’m still learning how to sit with this moment and let myself feel proud.

Meeting people who think like me, move with purpose, and want to build real connections felt good. This JOURNEY IS MINE AND MINE TO OWN! Over the years, I’ve met enough people who seemed to want the worst for me that I started expecting it. Association Chicago showed me different, and that means more than the award alone.

For now, it’s back to being Mr “Nobody” and quietly working, creating, and building what’s next. But I’m taking the genuine love with me

My base price for a haircut starting was $20 A haircut in 2011 and and my minimum haircut price is $50 in 2026, that’s:

* Total increase: $30
* Time span: 15 years (2011 → 2026)

Average annual increase:

\$30 \div 15 = \$2

So, on average, I gave myself a raise of about $2 A YEAR for a haircut.

LET THAT SINK IN.

CLIENTS/CUSTOMERS WOULD HAVE QUIT THEIR JOB IF YOUR GOT $2 raise a year.
