My clients don't want that dramatic brow that screams "I got a face tattoo!"
My style is anti-tattoo and it's all about conservative natural illusions. Most of my clients want subtle enhancements with realistic pleasing qualities on their face. Technically pmu is a tattoo but I strive to make it not look like one! I do not want anyone to know you have permanent cosmetics unless you tell them. It shouldn't be obvious.
This post is of a very subtle and conservative brow. It is natural looking and doesn't have that oversaturated tattoo look of typical powder brows. I love doing work like this. Love it!! No sharpie brows given on my table. No way!

💐💐These combo brows were created with a soft powder brow base and delicate hairstrokes for an incredibly realistic result. My client's goal? Natural-looking eyebrows.
🌸🌸Interestingly, almost every permanent makeup client tells me they want their brows to look "natural." The challenge is that natural means something different to every person.
🌸🌸For one client, natural may mean soft, subtle, and barely noticeable. For another, natural may mean fuller, more defined brows that resemble the way they filled them in with makeup for years. Some clients associate natural with youthfulness and want to recreate the brows they had when they were younger. Others simply want brows that they feel are flattering and beautiful.
🌸🌸That's why consultation and design are such important parts of the process.
When a client tells me they want natural brows, I ask specific questions to understand exactly what that means to them. We discuss their goals, personal style, daily makeup habits, facial features, and existing brow hair. Then I carefully map a custom brow design so they can see the shape before any pigment is applied.

Over time, the individual hair strokes have softened and blended into the powder brow effect—which is exactly why I love combo brows. Even as the strokes soften, you still maintain shape, color, and definition.

If you've been thinking about learning permanent makeup, one of the biggest questions is: How do you know if a trainer is truly qualified?
Unfortunately, Arizona has very little regulation over the permanent makeup and tattoo industry, making it difficult for prospective students to verify credentials and experience. That's why I always encourage students to do their research.
One of the best ways to verify a trainer's credentials is through the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP). Board Certified Artists and SPCP Approved Trainers can be verified through the SPCP member directory. The SPCP is one of the most respected organizations in the permanent makeup industry and serves as a licensing or certification requirement in a growing number of states, including New Hampshire, Maine, and New Jersey.
I'm proud to be SPCP Board Certified (CPCP) and an SPCP Approved Trainer. Earlier this year, my training program was submitted to the SPCP and meets their minimum 100-hour educational standard. Graduates of the program qualify for SPCP Professional Membership and are eligible to sit for the SPCP Board Certification Exam.

🌸🌸Just some subtle ultra-natural permanent makeup brows done here in Kingman this week.
🌸Overly groomed styles can look stenciled and fake. This tends to be an issue with a lot of powder brows. Looking too perfect and having the outline more saturated, will cause the end result to look like permanent makeup or a tattoo.
🌸This client wanted a very believable looking brow. I followed her natural hair pattern and simply filled it in a little more where her hair was sparse. I was careful not to put too many hairstrokes or powder finish around the outside edges of the design. Technicianly, this is a combo brow because there is some powder finish and there are hairstrokes done as well. This procedure was completed using SofTap pigments, SoftTap manual method as well as machine work.
🌸This is an "enhancement" and not a full-blown transformation. Many of my clients just want a little more definition and to get back, what time has taken from them. As we mature, eyebrows may become sparse and lack in definition. This can result in looking older than we actually are or looking washed out. A subtle enhancement, many times is all that's needed.
