Crystals Meraki all about HAIR
Stylist (still) behind the chair 20+ years
Inspiring artists to multiply their income through consistency and connection.
Teaching through analogies
The real life stuff !!
The relationship with your hairdresser is a special one, you get whatever you need that day. Agreeing friend to listen to you vent… yep. Hype woman to build up confidence going into the new job or first date… yep. Therapist who tells you the real deal not what you want to hear… yep.
If you aren’t a good listener, and don’t truly want to help people look and feel good about themselves, this career is not for you. Connecting with our clients is what makes you good at what you do, all these life things happening, they are the backbone to what you recommend for hairstyles, services, changes, or solutions. We physically touch people, that is an energy exchange, make it a good one. This is a people business first. Don’t lessen it to transactional.
Feel like you’re struggling with client connection? DM me and let’s talk! 💕

If you’re in the beauty industry… to get ahead, pay yourself FIRST, instead of keeping all your money in your business account.
This is how I structure my money to ensure I’m getting paid and stay organized.
50% stays in operating account
- This is where your rent, products, marketing, licensing etc. comes from
(Once you have a few months of numbers, and a surplus in this account, you get a BONUS - remember this is the emergency fund savings account too)
50% transfer to my personal account (payday!)
- 15% of pay goes directly to a tax account
- 35% Net Pay
You have to know what’s coming in and going out before you can set goals. Even when your business needs more, pay yourself first, then put it back into the business. You need to feel valued for your work, and able to celebrate achieving your goals. Both Gross and Net !!

Stylists! What’s something you say so often it’s become your unofficial motto? 👀
When your value meets and exceeds your price, clients see it. They don’t question it. Consistency is part of that value. Teaching your clients the why behind their style choices, this builds trust that can not only see, but understand too. 🤍
Transactional pricing reflects time and services in the salon. (1 hour haircut)
True Value pricing reflects the look and feel the client enjoys everyday. (6 weeks of fall into place, look good - feel good, mornings)
Once your clients see and FEEL your value, they will refer you! Value and trust build loyalty, loyalty and client referrals build value. Cycle repeat! 👏🏼
Are you struggling with pricing? Drop a “VALUE” below and let’s go over yours! 💸
