I've done over 25,000 PMU procedures. Due to a busy travel and training schedule I work by appointment only on specific days and times.

Please visit TerynDarling.com to learn more about me and view my work. Still loving what I do & why I'm doing it ๐Ÿฉท

Your pigment isn't always the problem.
Sometimes it's the easiest thing to blame.

The real challenge?
โžก๏ธNot fully understanding the skin sitting in your chair.
โžก๏ธNot having enough techniques in your toolbox.
โžก๏ธNot having enough options when Plan A isn't the right choice.

Great artists don't force every client into the same procedure because it's what they're most comfortable doing.

They adapt. ๐Ÿ’ก
They assess. ๐Ÿค“
They make skin-led decisions. ๐Ÿง

Every face is different. Every skin is different. Your approach should be too.
The artist with the most versatility will almost always outperform the artist with only one solution.

Stop asking, "What's the best pigment?"
Start asking, "What's the best decision for THIS skin?"

That's where confidence and mastery begins. ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ”ฅ

I have an amazing course called Beyond The Epidermis. It is not pigment brand specific... Skin specific, type of pigment specific (organic, inorganic or hybrid), It's saturation wanted specific, It's specific and dialed in about everything that has to do with your choices with that particular client sitting in your chair.

Kat looked like she stepped straight out of a country music video. ๐Ÿค ๐Ÿ”ฅ

I looked like the cowboy they found wandering around the parking lot. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Somehow, we still pulled it off... or at least we committed to the bit. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

What an incredible night at the Rady Shell seeing Wynonna Judd and Melissa Etheridge!

The music was phenomenal, the weather was perfect, and making memories with my favorite human is always the best part. โค๏ธ๐ŸŽถ

P.S. I've lived in Vegas for umpteen years and somehow still don't own a cowboy hat. I feel like that's a residency requirement I completely missed. ๐Ÿค ๐Ÿ˜‚"

POV: You leave the house thinking you're too cool for a lavender sun hat... then the sun humbles you. ๐Ÿ˜‚โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ’œ

The only thing standing between my nose and spontaneous combustion was this fabulous little number.

Was it my first choice? Absolutely not.

Did it save my face? Absolutely.

Meanwhile, Kat looks effortlessly cool because she actually knows how to wear a sun hat. I look like I wandered away from a lavender festival. ๐Ÿคฃ๐ŸŒธ

Zero regrets. My dignity is temporary... sun damage is forever. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿฉท

You can build a successful PMU career creating beautiful work.

But eventuallyโ€ฆ
A client will sit in your chair with old brows.
With migration.
With unwanted color.
Or simply wanting a fresh start.

And in that momentโ€ฆ
Your ability as an artist wonโ€™t be measured by what you can create.

It will be measured by how confidently you can help them move forward.

The Li-FTยฎ Online Course with me...Teryn Darling is the only official manufacturer-approved saline lightening course for LiFT, created to help artists confidently approach PMU lightening and correction through science-backed education and proven techniques.

Sometimes the best therapy doesn't come with a prescription... it comes with four paws, your favorite people, a picnic blanket, and a little patch of grass. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿพโค๏ธ

Today, Kat, Delilah, Samson, and I escaped to beautiful Boulder City for a little reset. Sunshine, fresh air, wagging tails, and zero agenda.

And yes... I literally touched grass. ๐Ÿ˜†๐ŸŒฑ

Turns out, Samson was the one who reminded all of us how to slow down and enjoy the simple things. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿถ

I'm definitely listening to him and I'm slowing down enjoying the simple things in life. It's been pretty amazing. You can forget how beautiful the world really is.

What's your favorite way to unplug? ๐Ÿ’š

Not every artist talks about this...
But every experienced artist knows it
Sometimes it's not about creating. It's about correcting-

Pigment too deep?
Shape slightly off?
Healing didn't go as planned?

That's where skill really shows.

Li-FT isn't ust a product - it's a tool that gives you control when things don't go perfectly.

Gentle on skin - Targets pigment

Confidence isn't iust created..
it's restored.

Save this if you offer corrections
or want to start ๐Ÿ˜‰

๐Ÿ˜… "Every client is a great client for hair strokes."

That statement made me pause...
One of the most important parts of our job isn't choosing our favorite techniqueโ€”it's assessing the skin and determining which brow style is most likely to give that client beautiful, long-term healed results.

Hair strokes are absolutely gorgeous... on the right skin.

But not every skin type is an ideal candidate, and that's okay. Sometimes the best service we can provide is recommending a different approach because we're thinking beyond today's photos and focusing on how those brows will heal months and years from now.

Now, here's where experience and artistry come into play...

Some artists are exceptionally skilled at hair strokes and have honest, detailed conversations with their clients. They explain the risks, the limitations, and what the healed results may look like. If the client understands all of that and still chooses hair strokes, then that's an informed decision made together.

There's a big difference between saying, "You can choose this technique if you understand the trade-offs," and saying, "Everyone is a great candidate."

Our responsibility is to assess the skin first, educate second, and recommend what's truly in our client's best interest.

That's how we build trust. That's how we create beautiful healed results. โค๏ธ

๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿถ His first time wearing shoes... and it's freaking HYSTERICAL.

Look at those legs!! ๐Ÿ˜‚ The high stepping... The donkey kicks... The "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY FEET?!" panic...

We bought these because Vegas sidewalks get HOT and we wanted to protect his little paws. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ

One week later update: We really thought he'd get used to them.
He did not.
Not even a little.

After seven days he was STILL walking like a baby giraffe on roller skates. ๐Ÿคฃ So... the shoes have officially been retired.

Sorry, Sampson. Mommy will still have to carry you unless there is shady sidewalks. ๐Ÿพโ˜€๏ธ

Please tell me your dog did this too! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘‡

The procedure doesn't end when tattooing stops... Not even close.

It ends when the skin is clean, calm, and ready to heal.

Most artists focus on pigments, needles, and technique.. but the final cleanse is often the most overlooked step in the entire procedure.

๐Ÿ”ฅ THE BEST PART OF THIS EYELINER IS WHAT SHE DOESN'T HAVE TO DO ANYMORE. ๐Ÿ‘

Every morning millions of women sit down, attempt to make two wings match, and lose a small piece of their sanity. ๐Ÿ˜‚
Meanwhile...

Permanent eyeliner exists. ๐Ÿ–ค

A beautifully implanted liner enhances the lash line, frames the eye, creates visual density in the lashes, and gives the appearance of brighter, more defined eyes. ๐Ÿ‘๏ธโœจ

No smudges. No fading by lunchtime. No "one eye looks amazing and the other eye looks drunk." Just clean, crisp definition that works 24/7. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

This result?
Sharp enough to make a statement. Soft enough to stay timeless. Now that's what I call extraordinary. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ–ค
